Current Events The New Generation vs Old Generation Battle

#41
Oda goes out his way to showyou that the worst gen will defeat kaido and big mom. Shows you that zoro has been after kaido since he stepped foot on onigashima. Has enma . And you’re the genius that continues talking about king !! Zoro has to much set up this arc to just fight king . King is not worthy of zoro dude . Cut the nonsense
Its not nonsense dude. When you follow a manga for 1000 chapters, you catch on to Oda's narrative tropes. Zoro will never take the spotlight from Luffy. Hes poised be the vengeful spirit of Oden that cuts Kaido for sure. Hell, i can even see him lopping off his head after Luffy wins, ala Ryuuma. But there is so much we dont know yet. Nobody in Wano even knows Zoro's Shimotsuki lineage. Nobody has explained it to him yet. Clearly there is more to the arc than let on at this time. We have barely seen anything from king

Narrative tropes for Zoro almost always gives him the fight for a character slightly stronger than Sanji's opponent, which has been set up to be Queen. You wanna be critical of my thinking, cool, I dont care lol

Thats nonsense bro. This arc isnt following odas usual style thats a shit point. Zoro has never been this adamant to face the main villian of the arc. His heritage is irrelevant in this fight at this point, hes already realised that the one to gun for is kaido.

- What do you expect from this battle?

LBBM & ZKK

- Will it be a 5 vs 2 or two 2 vs 1 with Law's support for both teams?

Unless other parties interfere, yes.

- Will someone die? If yes, who?

ZKK.

- Will they be enough or will someone arrive to help? If yes, who?

From the Yonko's side, I can only see King trying to help out.

From the Alliance's side, Yamato obviously.

After the Marines arrive, an Admiral might help out.

Zoro fights characters slightly stronger then what Sanji fights ? Apparently you haven’t been reading this manga for the past 15 years . That hasn’t happened in over a decade . Get with the times

Zoro will never take the spotlight from Luffy huh? So why in thillerbark did that happen and that moment is consistently voted has a top anime/manga moment on polls?

For the first eleven volumes Zoro without question is the more famous of the two and actually is the one to defeat the first boss, Morgan, in a fight where Luffy also took part.

Thriller Bark has Zoro take the lead in fighting Kuma and taking Luffy's pain after he had fallen.

Despite the narrative rewards for Luffy, Law was rightfully given equal credit in the defeat of Doflamingo.

So to say in this arc where Zoro is at his most relevant without Mihawk that he's just going to end up looking like some second banana by obligation... I dunno. He's not just fighting some right hand man here. He's in front of Kaido, fresh, and has gone from restoring the most important sword in Wano's history to another great Shimotsuki clan blade, one of the swords to cut Kaido originally.

During this chapter the heads of the New Generation faced the two pillars of the Old Generation

Here are some question of cue:

- What do you expect from this battle?
- Will it be a 5 vs 2 or two 2 vs 1 with Law's support for both teams?
- Will someone die? If yes, who?
- Will they be enough or will someone arrive to help? If yes, who?
1. Hopefully we get some enjoyable panels but I doubt anything major will happen for now.
2. 5 v 2 for now
3. no. This is one piece
4. 5 is not enough. There’s a reason Oda set up 9 shadows. We’ll have the remaining members of these 9 show up. (Sanji/Sulong Bepo/Yamato/Jinbe)

once the rest show up we’ll get two 3v1s followed by the supernova captains participating in both.

Who's making fun of you? Just because people aren't agreeing with you on a point?

I mean who knows for sure?
I've been called a "genius" sarcastically for having an opinion.

That's my point lol, I have never made fun of someone else's opinion (except Kings Merienda cause that shit was hilarious). Whatever Oda draws is king at the end of the day, so really it won't matter in several months once we know how each BP or BMP member falls. All I'm honestly saying.

I expect this battle to not be the final battle for Wano. The real final fight will happen on the mainland and very likely in the Flower Capital. Other Supernovas and Yamato may join in this real final fight.

This being One Piece, and as Oda refuses to let any named character die outside of flashbacks with a few exceptions, and as confirmed again with the Scabbards no one is going to die.

I expext this battle to be chaotic without any real coordination between Kaido and Big Mom.

I could totally see 5 of the scabbards getting decent finishers on the 5 remaining Numbers or just all 10 if they come back. Granted, these will be when they are still injured, but it at least it gives them something to do while the main Pirates fight for the most part. I would not be surprised if Oda recreated the whole 10 Numbers destroying a city thing with the capital, and either each scabbard defeats one, plus maybe Kanjuro if he flipped sides again after waking up/not dead (i still think there is something tragic with him going on).

Worst Gen hype and insane feats
:myman:

5v2
Will someone die? If yes, who?
Yes, Kaido will die.

Will they be enough or will someone arrive to help? If yes, who?
I honestly think these five could be enough but I also see the possibility of the other WG members coming to the roof.

law is going to abandon the fight and everyone will think he ran away, kaido will go wororororo see they always betray each other wororo and act 3 will end

then after intermission the reveal that law was evacuating the flower capital and onigashima lands on an empty city, battle with kaido destroys the town like a godzilla fight

Sanji is not joining them dude . He does not have ryou to hurt kaido and he will not fight big mom. Get a grip . Matter of fact keep it up continue thinking that Sanji will join . Nothing is funnier then watching Sanji fans set themselves up for failure

Actually, T.D.A on Narutoforums debanked this "9 shadows will defeat Kaido", because no one said that in the manga. 5 is enough imho

- What do you expect from this battle?
Way bigger than the one we saw at Stampede...

- Will it be a 5 vs 2 or two 2 vs 1 with Law's support for both teams?
5 vs. 2...

- Will someone die? If yes, who?
Kaido, maybe BM as well...

- Will they be enough or will someone arrive to help? If yes, who?
Someone will arrive to help, from both sides... And oh, I'm expecting this to become a 3-way war once Kaido and BM betray each other...
