Good luck for him. He was not a perfect coach but certainly not a bad one, and he did manage to take England football team to a world cup semi-finals and two Euro finals, and I don't think that he deserved the media backlash he often received.

And also good luck to his successor who will have lots of work to do and pressure on his shoulders, it's far from sure that he'll do better than Southgate.
Those achievements on paper really look impressive his successor will have tough time to match that
