That's exactly why the vegapunk lore scenes are kinda wasted as opportunity. He talked about that topic but sticked to devil fruits. Would've been nice if he had dropped at least one vague sentence about swords/objects as well as the mentioned manifestation.

Swordsmen Duels end in a True Mano a Mano Exchange
Mihawk obviously have a Variety of Sword Techniques, and a lot of them can be Matched by other Master Swordsmen such as Shanks or Rayleigh or Oden ... etc
But for him to be truly WSS, then He must have at least One Technique that cannot be Matched, by anyone in 800 Years
A Technique that combines Everything Mihawk got (His Strength, Speed, Haki, Cutting Power ... etc)
That's what makes Zoro's Dream among 10 Impossible SHs Dreams, because Mihawk doesn't have Kaidou's Body, He is still Endangered by lot of things, but Beating him in a Face-Off where you have to Unleash more Powerful Attack than him? That's impossible
Mihawk was Sweating against Zoro in Baratie, because that Technique is Superior than Mihawk's
It's First Time He witnesses a Technique that can generate more Power than his Ultimate Attack
This is why Zoro is on his Path to Upgrade his Stats, not his Technique, for that Three-Thousand Worlds Attack to reach it's Full Potential

Plenty of pirates (fodders) set out to become the pirate king and find the One Piece, even buggy....Even though they'd never get past the emperors or Roger. But pirates are still coming out to the sea for Rogers treasure. Many people respect and fear rogers legacy 20 years later.....Nobody gives a shit about Midhawks title even now lmfao, they don't bother trying to get it (nobody in the verse except Zoro and a girl that died falling down the stairs wants Mihawks title) lmfao in fact, nobody recognises it or reps it. This nature of the Weaponmaster is fundamentally a Dark Haki aligned set of abilities. There are no healers or creators among Weaponmasters.
The pinnacle of a swordsman then is obvious- he who can cut/destroy anything. That is their only purpose and only goal.
The ability to not cut something only represents the idea of not destroying something by selective targetting. They can do nothing except cut or not cut. Other people can go beyond that limitation.

Interesting what you say. But Mihawk always demonstrates great precision in his techniques, to the point of stopping the knife just before piercing Zoro's heart, when they both fought at Baratie. His accuracy is certainly something not to be questioned, because at that moment he could have killed Zoro and the only reason he didn't was because he didn't show any fear. So much so that he immediately asks, "Why do you refuse to step back?"
The point you bring up, perhaps not your intention, is that Mihawk probably hasn't been to Wano, so there may be things he doesn't know about swordplay on closed islands in the world. But given that nothing was demonstrated in Wano that Mihawk couldn't do, then I don't think there's any problem with him not going to Wano.
I would just like to know one thing. If Zoro, before unlocking advanced king's haki and optimizing haki expenditure with Enma, managed to cut Kaido, could Mihawk perform a clean fatal cut on him?

because Mihawk was only using 1% of his power. No techniques, no haki, no sweat, no interest. And being one of the few to not suffer a single scratch, unlike Vista, Marco, Akainu, Aokiji and Shiro xD.
