Imu is the same archetype as Yhwach and Kaguya.

he’s going to break powerscaling. So will the gorosei.

By EoS I promise y’all will be hyping the sword gorosei above Kaido.
Naah man that would change the dynamics by a lot of margin.
Literally every crew will be rendered useless. Except strawhats , not even strawhat as a whole but just Zoro and luffy and other gorosei opponent Will be Probably Kidd , law and sabo.
Kaguya and yhwach weren't even Introduced properly. Imu is Silhouetted multiple times by now and given he used some machine to take out an island , he alone can't pull of such feat.

What are your thoughts on how they are related?
Just like Haki, DF Abilities, Genes ... etc can be passed down
The same can be done with Consciousness

Just like when a DF User dies, the Devil inside is transferred to a New Fruit
There are Humans who when they die, their Soul is transferred to a New Human (Just like AoT Titans if you're familiar with that)
Think of them as Living Devils who have the same Life Cycle of DFs but don't have any Supernatural Abilities

However, their Presence is hidden inside the New Host, until they are Awakened under certain conditions
Prime Example is Hakuba who is a someone who Died & got Reborn inside Cavendish
Apparently Hakuba is very Wild & Rebellious, that's why he tries to force his way out constantly

When do Double-Layered Eyes appear? It's when both Hakuba & Cavendish Combine & Fuse
In other words, Double-Layered Eyes indicate that the Person's Will is actually a Combination of Two!

And there are multiple Hints actually
Mihawk's Name is Dracule which is obviously inspired by Dracula & it means both Devil & Dragon
Dracula references his Immortality, Devil references how his Soul works similar to Devil Fruits & Dragon references his Relation to Mary Geoise

Oda even went further & made his Boat literally a Coffin
Gave him Christianity Theme & a lot of Cross References, made him talk in Ancient Tongue
His Animal Companion are Monkeys who learned to Fight by observing so many Wars & Battles

He is clearly Bored & Half-Retired as if he is as old as Rayleigh
And Onimaru explained that Black Blades are forged from a lot of Fights & there is no way Mihawk have more Experience than Roger & Rayleigh, unless ofc he lived more than them.

It's very obvious that Mihawk is actually an Ancient Person, the Hints are Countless
Oda even made Zoro become a Trion Person, cuz that's the only way to gain Buffs as much as someone who lived Twice or Thrice

And not just Mihawk & Cavendish, Imu follows the same Pattern
If you go check Imu's Name in Kanji, you will discover that it's Combination of Adam & Eve
And i have more to say about this, but i will leave it for later

Zunisha is also not just an Elephant, it's actually a Deceased Person who committed a Crime & he was given a Punishment to be reborn & live forever inside an Elephant (Until some Event)

Who are these Humans who can be reborn? What's the common Theme between Mihawk, Cavendish & Imu? It's Knights!
Just like Elbaf is basically Land of Vikings, Wano is Land of Samurai, Mary Geoise is clearly Land of Knights
So these Humans who are getting reborn are from there, it's basically a Special Order of Knights (Akainu confirmed such Group exists)

How is such Immortality possible?
Vegapunk literally spoiled everything recently, but most Fans didn't notice
Vega said that he stores his Knowledge in Vega Records that can be accessed by others
And he also said that Ancient Kingdom were more Advanced

Doesn't this mean that Ancient Kingdom definitely built similar Records before, even bigger one most probably
And then Vega revealed to us that he was born "Smart", so where did he inherit his Intellect?
Obviously from Records of Ancient Kingdom

The same Logic applies on those Immortal Knights
There is a Place that contains their Souls, think of it as Vega Records but for Souls
It's also the place where DFs get recycled after their Users Die (It's like a Satellite for Souls)
Another Hint btw is that Big Mom Homies Eyes turn into Multi-Layered when she feeds them more Souls which indirectly tells us that more Souls = More Eye Layers (Caribou is another Hint as he was shown to absorb people completely, so Oda was foreshadowing how Mihawk, Imu & Cavendish have someone living inside them)

Anyway, i don't want to reveal everything, cuz it requires multiple Mysteries to be explained & put together for people to understand how i reached such Conclusions (Cuz it's much much bigger Lore than people realize)

However what i can say is that there are 20 Immortal Knights (Same number as WG Founders)
Three of them are living inside Mihawk, Imu & Cavendish, others are still Hidden (Think of them as Sleeper Agents)
Others are scattered around the World, waiting to be Awakened to start a certain Event

You wanna know who they are? Go check Knights Introduced so far & how Oda teases their Potential
T-Bone was Hyped by Zoro
Vista was Hyped by Mihawk
Streusen was Hyped by Capone
... etc (You can add Crocodile too)

Oda introduced those Three for example, hyped them & then they made their exit
It's cuz he doesn't want us to focus on their Current Level, it's their Future Role that matters

As for the Place that contains Souls, it's Mary Geoise National Treasure, it's also the Place shown with Giant Straw Hat
And it's near impossible to Access cuz it's literally the Afterlife

Only means to enter it is by the help of Brook (His DF is the Key) or Eternal Youth Operation as Doflamingo attempted

I'm really not expecting much from the gorousei, they're too old. Other than taking control of the Seraphim away from vegapunk they won't do much. I'm sure they were capable fighters back in their day and they will still be strong enough to survive on the battlefield long enough to take control of the Seraphim.

With that being said I don't see anyone but zoro beating mihawk, especially some old fart.

What do we call old perverted men in shounen series? POWERFUL. Don't even underestimate old men, there's a possible Yamamoto lurking in the Gorosei.

Yamamoto was a soul reaper who was thousands of years old. We're talking about one piece here, these characters are humans who have a prime and when they get old they understand that they are past their prime. Rayleigh knew that since he was past his prime he had to bluff his way to peace with blackbeard, I'm pretty sure garp is about to die trying to save koby. I'll stand by what I said, having the highest control authority over the Seraphim is going to be their greatest strength and the only reason they even get involved in the war, otherwise they'd just sit in that room giving orders and drinking tea.

Every arc, Zoro fights the main villain's right hand man. Literally every single arc.

Yet people think Zoro vs Mihawk will be Zoro's final battle? What, is Buggy going to be the final villain or something? I know people love Mihawk and want him to be Zoro's EoS fight, but y'all need to stop being fanboys and look at the plot.

Between Blackbeard and Imu, there's simply no room for Mihawk.

At the moment, Imu and the gorosei have immense potential to be the final villains of one piece. They are at the head of the world government, even above the admirals. Yet they don't have any feats or hype. What better way to hype up the gorosei than to have them quash Cross Guild, a yonko crew, with the sword gorosei personally taking out Mihawk.

As for how the gorosei will take out Mihawk? Probably via some super rare and powerful DF ability. The gorosei and Imu are the heads of the world after all, they have first pick on any DF the world government collects. Imagine if the sword gorosei put a mythical zoan into a supreme grade sword and subsequently awakened it. That's just a possibility, but its something the gorosei could do.

Ultimately, Oda hasn't changed his arc formula for over 20 years. People thought he would change it in wano, he didn't. There's no reason to think he will change it for the final war. Why else would one and only one of the gorosei be given a katana, if not to fight Zoro?
Just saying, but half of the previous Yonkos used swords, but Zoro didn't even beat the one he encountered because Law + Kidd did and he certainly won't beat the other one he will encounter at some point.

Gandhi Gorosei carrying a sword is not a guarantee Zoro will even try to attack him, let alone fight him in its entirety.

Thread number 9 on the same topic from the same user... :saden:

Yes. No other fight in the entire One Piece has a greater build-up than this one.
You would have to come up with a character stronger than Mihawk which currently doesnt exist.
While you could create someone stronger, Gandhi aint that guy, you simply cannot match Mihawk's build-up with anything.

What, is Buggy going to be the final villain or something?
Buggy will indeed be Luffy's final challenge for One Piece itself.
You thought Luffy's final opponent would be some strong badass? It's Looney Tunes, think again.
Davy Back Fight against the supreme Clown of the show is truly a fitting finale for One Piece.

Imu will be the final villain, but Buggy will be the face of Imu.

Just like how buggy has constantly been pushed up to high positions because others find it convenient to have him be a target, Imu will do the same thing EOS.

So yeah Cross Guild vs Straw Hats will be the final fight where it’s Luffy vs Buggy (really Luffy vs Imu) as Luffys final fight.
