Although I believe that what dictates how advanced your CoC is in terms of power/intensity (not in terms of control) is how strong you generally are, if I'm wrong on this, then one possible alternative is that Imu will use Domi Reversi on Sanji and offer him a magic boost, like some posters suggested. That would unlock his full potential and allow him to use the perfected version of ACoC without having to improve his CoC gradually.

Coc will come.
Just not right now.
I still wish it would be against Lafitte.
I don't understand why you would like this kind of power up later in the story and not now. It's right now that they have to fight the first holy knights and conqueror haki is needed now. Why wishing for this kind of power up when Sanji will fight black beard crew,
presumably at the real end of the manga.

Talent is something you make bloom.

I dont think Teach is the final villain.
I think teach is the final fight for the one piece.
Once the one piece is claimed, it will trigger the world war WB talked about.
Then we deal with Imu.

Warn about what?
Unlock here, unlock later, its a W anyway :kayneshrug:
Blackbeard is the final villain. That's set in stone. :zehaha:

He will succeed where Rocks failed and cast down Imu, usurp this Empty Throne, and replace/add Gorosei and/or Knights from his own crew.

Imu is not the villain of the story. He is a villain that the true villain of the story will defeat and whose powers he will take for his own.

I told @Tyki_Mikk that teach becoming the final villain was definitely in the cards after these last chapters.
BUT, who knows.
The issue is that devilifying his crew would add very little, imo.

You can make arguments for BB being the Final Villain - even though i don't think so, it's gonna be Imu. But the main problem with BB being the Final Villain is his Crew is too weak to be the End Game opponents for the SH's.
Outside the M3 there are some good matchups, but for Zoro and Sanji? They are gonna be wayyyy to strong for any BB Pirate at the End Game to be a real threat (I don't count Aokiji here).
But Imu and his gang got some good End Game opponents for them, be it Admirals or the Gorosei.

To bottom line it, do y'all believe Oda's put all this work in Blackbeard, just so he can fail where Rocks failed?

Oda has put in enormous time and effort into developing Blackbeard, who is now easily among the best in the history of the medium and fiction in general if you ask me. He is utterly fascinating in ways Imu simply could not make up for with revelations of the Void Century, imo.

It is not YET fact he is the final villain, but it's a virtual certainty.

My earliest prediction for Elbaph's major twist was and remains Blackbeard killing Imu and taking his powers.
