Nah. I don't hate Marco. In fact, I put him above King and Katakuri. It's just that we have to hype Sanji's opponent as much as possible.

There are others things too

Shinobu and Momo:

- Sanji has been paired with Shinobu a lot this arc. Whilst in Onigashma, Momo is one of Sanji's biggest priorities....if not the biggest. And what happens. King fights against Shinobu and his main goal is Momo.

Marco x Sanji x King:

- I think it's pretty convenient how these three all have feats against the Mama Chanter. Drawn in a similar way with the Meme Pirates all reacting to their attacks on the side.
- I think it's also highly convinient that King's first fight this arc is against a flaming blonde kicker.

Black Maria:

- Of course when Sanji was captured against Black Maria, the only person who phoned her was non other than King. With Oda then making them have direct opposite goals.
