The "eyebrow fix".
Oda says "I felt relieved SEEING THAT GERMA HASN'T TAKEN SANJI when I saw a mouse identical to the one of that time liking him".

What I understood from this is: the exoskeleton did not "turn off". What I think Oda was going for, is that Sanji was INDEED turning into a heartless monster like his siblings. The way he showed us that, was how the eyebrow changed. But, after the fight, when he protected Chuji, it triggered fond memories of his past (like the mouse he used to feed), and this trigger managed to STOP the "Germa's hold" on Sanji, that's why, after falling unconscious, his eyebrow was back to normal.

If that's true, then Chuji is the reason we didn't get Black Hair Evil Sanji. Fuck you, rat. That's why I always liked "Tom" more"

and shanks is also a COO specialist like sanji, hopefully sanji gets a similar ability or something

my crack theory of sanji being the new generation’s shanks is getting more plausible by the day
