It might works if it only kills Sora but it doesn't explain how Sanji's Lineage Factor got reversed.

Well the others may change the lineage factor of the eater which is how they grant those superhuman abilities, so it’s possible that rather than reverse the lineage factor change, Sora instead tried to overwrite it in an attempt to save the emotions of her children.

Just trying to find other possibilities cause it doesn’t seem like the medicine was made by Vegapunk and Sora doesn’t seem to have any scientific background

It's still questionable that Sanji of all the kids were chosen. At this point, if Vegapunk doesn't bring anything up, Oda abandoned that plotline.
