Because that's not even a serious debate. King is a mere commander. CP0 themselves said that Queen and King being defeated isn't relevant because it all comes down to whether the real threats, namely Kaido and Big Mom, fall or not. While Kaido was afraid of an all out war happening if Big Mom and her brats managed to enter Wano. The fact you use King knocking the ship off the waterwall as a combat feat (Marco did the same) shows, that this debate is a meme.

people get very careless with the big mom hate around here
if you hate her as a character that's fine, you're not meant to like every single character in the series, lord knows there's some characters i loathe especially in terms of how oda handled them, but we can't act like she isn't still extremely strong.
mutliple characters compare her to kaido and say that she's practically as strong as he is. and keep in mind she's just one person, there's still an entire army of high tiers like katakuri and cracker backing her up here. the only way you can defend king is if you believe he's considerably above his own captain, to which i'd respectfully advise that you should probably spend less time bickering about the silly pirate manga online and more time in a padded room

Yes, as a species, they are the pinnacle (though I believe Vegapunk called it pinnacle of science). Doesn't mean they are now stronger than every other character. They did however replace the warlords already.
