Current Events Theory on how Kid vs Shanks will go next chapter.

Point being, is they never KOed her with thier own strength.
Even with the two of them teaming up, using their absolute strongest attacks, they failed to do something a single top tier would be capable of, after a hard fought battle.
That means individually, they've still got a ways to go before they can be counted among Top Tiers.
They're not so far ahead, that YCs would be no problems for them.

I think Kid is definitely going to have a hype moment within that battle, whether it's against Shanks himself or the fleet or the giants. His actual magnetic force is still one of the most powerful forces/abilities in the series, when it's doing its work. Who knows what kinda assigns he has in store. Perhaps Oda now goes away from that "scrap metal supported brawling"-style of his and instead does more with magnetic force fields. Normally he should have already been super annoying with just his basic repel move, but other than for that scene against BM on the rootop, Oda seemingly forgot about that.
He's there with only a very limited amount of metal in the open field, so he better show some. Punk Clash with those gigantic Weapons from the Giants around would be tough for example, but imo it would only be a legitimate feat if he assigns it in an actual 1on1 fight on someone important. Assigning a ship or a giant would be ass tbh.

He's there with only a very limited amount of metal in the open field, so he better show some. Kaido stomping enraged Luffy =/= stomping calm Katakuri
Queen =/= King or Katakuri or Marco
Lucci =/= King or Katakuri or Marco, atleast in the defensive capacity, which is particular important when fighting a much stronger character.
You could also insert Jozu into all of those probably.
And how is Kid actually stomping either of the three? By looking at abilities this is close too impossible. You can hardly argue for Kid beating them, let alone stomping them. Perhaps you underestimate the "YC1s" a little. Kuri's FS still annoying af, Marco's regen is still annoying af, King's lunarian gimmick is still annoying af and we do not even know what's actually able to damage him for good.
And all of them have very decent skills, next to their "main gimmicks" aswell.
I honestly don't know if Kid can even defeat King with current feats, no agenda whatsoever. I can hardly make up any scenario where he's winning. Assign + Damned Punk, while King all the while somehow feels the need to stay in flame off form, maybe?
While Kid pretty much has no answer to an hybrid mode onslaught, no answer to well timed magma dragons, needs huge benefits of the doubt when arguing that he's able to deal with a CoA infused sword attack in speed form, needs a huge benefit of the doubt of being able to react to "Jackpot" accordingly.
Can further feats change that? Yes, but that still remains to be seen. No front btw, but that "now that they fought BM they are automatically above"-narrative is not much to go by imo, especially when compared to Luffy, their bounties feel very much inflated.
