Shanks wins against Kaido 10 out of 10 times.
Let's say Shanks' swordmanship ~ Oden although that's really lowbailing Shanks that ended Kidd Pirates' career in 1 strike.
But the hostage bullshit won't work on Shanks, because we know Shanks has Future Sight. The same move he quickly used against Kidd.
No hostage trick = game over for Kaido.

--Kaido never uses hybrid from the start. Kaido due to plot also does not uses FS. Its obvious he underestimated oden. Kaido can simply dodge lolden's attack using FS and clap him with roaring thunder bagua
