Honestly, there seems to be people who defend the series and Oda, no matter what he says and does and how bad the story gets, instead just blaming the ones who point out the increasing, unavoidable cracks in it.
They are the reason why Oda feels he can exploit us like this too, like when artists put put out the most insipid, low effort, overpriced, insulting, fraudulent stuff and people still rush out to buy and fight over it.
It's such cult-like behaviour and its frustrating because they get so defensive and thus hostile towards anyone who doesn't immediately blindly life the series and calls it peak fiction, a 10/10 every chapter.
There is still plenty I love about the series including post TS and in Wano somehow but they see our criticisms and complaints and assume we blindly hate OP, always have done and just read it for years at minimum out of spite and masochism.
It's utterly nonsensical and frustrating.

What they don't realise is people like us criticise so much because we care about and love the series so much. We know the series can and has been better and we're hard on it because we don't want to see it fall from grace and become something worse than it deserves to be, just like someone we care about making bad choices in life, on a downward spiral. Tough love of course.
I could write so much about why I love and loved OP for most of my life and still do. I constantly have internal arguments with myself Pudding style over the current state of it, its state post TS and it's future too.
Sorry such a huge rant but man, I just can't understand how people can so earnestly/sincerely defend current OP and especially Wano and to now too.
