I gotta say Mikey looked wild and amazing. Drawn amazingly, too raw too cold.

And then he breaks. Wakui imo conveyed it perfectly with the art. You can see it on Mikey's face as he breaks down completely

And then he realizes what's going on. Again the despair is palpable

And then loses it completely and breaks down in tears and screams in pain. Something we almost never see from Mikey

Another thing that was unexpected for me was Sanzu's development. I thought he'd just be a loyal puppy to Mikey throughout everything

Maybeeeee this development came too quickly. But I get it, Wakui is wrapping up stuff.

Overall great chapter, filled with emotion and amazing art. Gonna miss this manga for sure ;-;

The editor's note makes me wonder that we are getting cheap shotted and Takemitchi will stay alive. That's so unfortunate because it will take away from the moment.

Well tbh I wasn't expecting him to die here right now with a few chapters left. He might perish in the end by sacrificing himself for everyone or something like that. But dying now is not optimal imo, with a few chapters left. Though Wakui can trick us and basically end it here. Mitchy dies, the rest just grow up and stuff. But I don't see it like this. Not without saving the rest as well.

I saw someone mentioning that it is possible that Mikey lost the impulses but gained leaping powers now and he will be the one to leap and save Takemitchi and everyone this time.

Ngl, with his power level it should be pretty easy, although I don't know what to think about this. Part of me wants to see everyone alive and happy but the other part of me knows it's a very bad writing decision and it should not take place tbh.

I have literally no idea what Wakui wants to do to make the whole journey of following this manga worth it.

The leaping part got out of hand a little.


Ps. The fact that South has Dark Impulses despite not being connected to Shin in any way, shape or form.

Hm. That can be possible. Yeah. He grabbed his hand. Yo that might just be it. Mikey will go back in time and undo everything. Maybe he will die willingly too to save everyone and everything.


The South part is interesting. But we know there are other leapers so it's not outta the question that he too was affected by a curse like that. Iirc he had no father or smth so maybe that.

well idk i think i dont want a sappy sweet ending. i do think michi gotta die to correct everything but...idk man an ending that wraps up everything is hard to do. most shonen dont stick the landing

Sometimes killing yourself is not a way to amend for your sins, if that is bound to happen, I would write Mikey to fix everything and save everyone and from that point onwards protect the rest of his life.

That could also be a way. Mikey has to watch over everyone and protect them.

I caught up somewhere around chapter 200/205 i think. In the chapter where Takemichi goes to meet Mikey on the eve of his marriage and gets his ass killed and goes back in time again. Though i didnt really read the manga & only checked spoilers after the chapter where Mikey brutally kills that dude who made up the three dieties with Mikey and Senju.

Yeah i've been waiting for the story to end to binge it. Guess it's almost time i caught up lol.

I didn't really like how the author handled the story post the Baji-Kazutora arc tbf, it got hella repetitive. Baji & Draken are my favs though.

It probably isn't the best ending he came up with but I think the author chose to go with a happy ending and I'm ok with this choice.
Not everything needs to have a dark bitter ending, the ending felt a bit rushed but overall this was an enjoyable manga.
I supposed we're going to see Takemitchy getting married next chapter with all his friends around him.

I have no clue how I feel about the end. Well it's fine. Not as bad as twitter is making it. That still goes to naruto for me but ending is a 4/10. Story overall for me is a 7/10
