The Ratchet scum case:
Here, he argues mostly that the biggest flaw in my plan is that not everyone will be on board. It‘s not a bad argument per se, but continue reading why this is outing actually.
Here he shades my read on Hime. Needless to say Hime won’t be aligned with him if he‘s scum because Ratchet 1) would be more likely to support a scum read on her to distance as scum mates with Hime and 2) it sounds more like he‘s trying to win her favour as opposed to a genuine take. He also ignores the entire premise of why our push on her started, which was Hime arguing on the basis of not knowing that the faction kill is mandatory. She even conceded that my plan makes more sense in that lense thus showing that she understands why we pushed her over this and my read on her also improved a little over this since it really wasn’t in the opening post.
Here he argues again that the main issue with my plan is that not everyone will be on board.
Again Town spewing Hime and shading me when it was long cleared up.
Again with the everyone needs to be on board issue.
Again buddying Hime.
Nothing but shade at Ekko and me.
And here comes the Kingmaker plan which may fix the issue of selecting a target, but the above clearly shows that he considered the main issue with my plan to be that not everyone will be on board. Which isn’t solved by playing Kingmaker either. Another thing is that Ratchet saw a Kingmaker Lynch system being exploited by a scum team in Favs, when Purple Mafia used it to their advantage. Since that Favs came up recently in the Overlord game I‘m sure he remembers that and how it destroyed both Town and the other scum team. It‘s allowing for scum to have needless thread control. Given that he was Town and on the receiving end of that system I don’t think he‘d come up with that as Town here knowing how disastrous it can be when abused by scum. Not to mention he considers himself the best player here and so far hasn’t produced a single direction other than Ekko (who I currently believe is Town). Given the zero amount of defense for Ekko from anyone and the general appetite to lynch him from many sides I currently don’t believe he‘s scum since he seems alone in the thread. I can’t reasonably find team mates for him either atm. So this direction seems awful from my current pov.
