General & Others Top 5 Oda L’s of Wano

I wouldn't say unattended, it's not like anyone would know exactly what the fruit is and what it does, they wouldn't just go eating it, only Luffy is that stupid.

My argument is that if this devil fruit always has been of this degree of world changing importance AND Shanks knew about it, he would have handled it differntly. He wouldn't have even set foot on this island knowing the WG is after it because he would be willingly and knowingly endangering all the people there including Luffy which he would sacrifice a limb for. So following this logic means that either Shanks acted against his character for no reason at all OR he didn't know about the importance of this fruit which in turn means he couldn't have possibly lied to Luffy in order to protect him.

This whole thing has holes everywhere no matter how you look at it and it's not exactly the reader's task to patch those holes left by Oda.

How can you say something like these when you just have #1 BP being least threatening villain group when you know yourself the reason......... plot armor over and over, unkillable good guys, senju beans, unbeatable mc(surprise) and lastly G5, all these shits disrupt the existence of stakes and threat in the arc.
If no G5, Kaido would single-handedly body the remaining alliance, there you got a threatening villain if you eliminate that shit. Shitting on villain due to lack of threat while adoring G5 doesn't form meaningful sentences.

Top 5 L's
1. Repeated Fake out death
2. Orochi /Kanjuro surviving too long
3. Lack of other strawhats
4. Big mom in Wano( pretty sure this is last minute idea from Oda)
5. Most Ancient Zoan users being actually glass canon.

Clearly Oda wasn't sure about it at first, he didn't have the whole idea/concept at the beginning, and he kind of worked on it as the manga went on.
But I feel the general idea was that Luffy's fruit was more than it was thought to be.

1. The Least Pirates being the least threatening villain group in the entire manga.

2. Usopp, Brook, and Chopper not getting fights even though Oda could’ve very easily had them fight P1, WsW, and Perospero

3. Half of the Scabbards being filler. Ashura and Kawa didn’t need to exist. Their roles and backstories could’ve been condensed into Denjiro’s character. Have Denjiro be the former gang leader from Kuri who joined Oden after losing to him in a fight. Cut out the filler of having Kawamatsu watch over Hiyori for a few years. Just have Denjiro be her protector from the beginning. Also, Kyoshiro being the one who had the blueprints to Onigashima would make much more sense than Ashura somehow obtaining them. Kiku was totally useless and only existed because Oda wanted to draw a trans samurai. Raizo was also totally worthless. Just have Kanjuro be the ninja of the group (his drawing ability is already basically ninjutsu anyways). Having Kanjuro be the one that the Dukes were protecting at Zou would make his betrayal sting even more. Kin’emon, Denjiro, Kanjuro, and the Dukes were the only Scabbards who actually had an important role in the story. Izo’s cool though, so I didn’t mind his inclusion besides not doing anything that important.

4. Big Mom being a retard and forgetting she has ACoC while fighting Kid and Law. Just give Kid ACoA and Law ACoO if they need to be stronger to beat a BM who actually uses ACoC. Idk why Luffy and Zoro are the only new gen characters that Oda will allow to have any impressive Haki feats

5. None of the weaker SHs unlocking Haki. They’re a Yonko crew now, yet 6 of their 10 core members can’t even use basic Haki? Franky, Robin, and Nami honestly didn’t deserve to beat their F6 opponents without unlocking Haki

Honorable mentions: The Nidai Kitetsu being totally useless, Zoro never visiting Ryuma’s grave, no Poneglyph lore dumps (despite Robin having access to the two extra ones from WCI, the Ponelyph in the Shogun’s palace, and the Poneglyph in Onigashima), Drake, Apoo, and Hawkins being borderline irrelevant, and the Numbers being totally irrelevant

First time I've seen a one piece fan criticize Oda for his treatment of Usopp in Wano

Nothing indicated that the fruit was Zoan or that it was legendary nika fruit where it's limited by Luffy's imagination

Let's not even waste time with luffy getting stronger with PUs everytime he's koed

This panel make Kaido look so low of threat it’s cringe look at Luffy smiling and laughing , this fight feels so low of tension

Kaido has so many antifeats he didn’t feel like threat at all. Luffy’s fight with Doflamingo you really feel this fight has a serious atmosphere but here I feel nothing. All of Wano you feel nothing, you are gaslighted with dozens of characters , there is no tension no anything , just a big mess

IIRC, I think it was @ZenZu who said that it takes something special for a character to fuck up other characters. I agree with him because that basically is what Lolden did. Kaido, Roger, WB, and, to a degree, even Zoro were left holding the bag because of a lame ass character Lolda shoved down the story's throat in the worst possible way and eventually offscreened.

Cause I agree the Shanks scene was way overboard.
Even saying it's because Aramaki didn't want to fight Luffy and Shanks, it doesn't excuse him literally dropping to the floor from Shanks' Haki, that was just dirty.
And even after Oda gave him a valid reason to be at Wano I still think the scene has a very bitter taste to it, but the memes from it were funny admittedly.

Not just that, I meant the other countless plotlines that were built but Lolda decided to drop because Red was coming. I don't just mean the shit ton ZKK hints that never materialized in-story, but also, among other things, these:

- Toki's Prophecy
- The imprisoned samurais in the capital
- Wano border
- Evil Cook
- Creating a Black Blade
- Nidai
- Ryuma's grave
- Grim Reaper
- Inu/Neko Dawn/Dusk importance
- Pluton
- Marco doing anything else but being a placeholder

All dropped because Lolda decided to do fuck all with them.

She just forgot she has Advanced Haki for some reason

Or for Kaidou to have it and that pushing Luffy to Awakening as well.
And Big Mom would use Advanced Haki or Awakening, which lets her make weapons with people's souls that shake the souls of her opponents once they're hit with them and momentarily stun them.
Or she could make some type of soul armor.
Idk. But you get the idea.
