Total War franchise.

Man they need to make a Total War Mythology game where you can select myths like the Greeks, Egyptians, Norse, Celtics, Japanese, Aztecs, etc...

Starting positions for Greenskins and Ogre Kingdoms revealed.
3 minute video.
2 minute video.
The most interesting changes are Grimgor, Skarsnik and Skrag.

Grimgor has been moved much farther East, close to Cathy, the Ogre Kingdoms and I think Kholek Suneater as well.

Skarsnik is now much closer to Karak Eight Peaks and Skrag is in the territory of the Border Princes.

With Grimgor out of Black Crag, that could be a set up to put another DLC/FLC Greenskin Legendary Lord there. Gorfang Rotgut would be most likely for lore reasons.

Makes sense

In End Times Grimgor destroyes entire Cathay and fights Goldtooth.

Kholek is interesting one... orcs dont have much anti large to deal with shaggats. Only anti large i know is Spooder and ork boar boyz

Hmmm.... ogres do have anti large... damn gonna be hard

Starting positions for Beastmen and Tomb Kings revealed.
Looks like Morghur and Khazrak have swapped places. Now the latter can go fight his old nemesis more quickly.

Tomb Kings are all in their old Mortal Empires locations more or less.

The campaign for Settra sure is going to be different though what with Skarbrand being practically on top of him. Early game Tomb King armies aren't going to have a pleasant time with Khorne Armies around. :milaugh:

I dont think Khorne will be an issue for Settra as much as Empire will

I doubt Khorne will go south, he will go north.

And Settra has defensive playstyle overall first 20 to 40 turns

Greasus should have stayed in his Great Hall, while the new starting place of Skrag is more for someone like Golgfag Maneater if he ever comes...
Greasus prolly starts in lesser province bcs of pathing. From the map and lore you can tell that the capitol of great hall is in the middle, so in order to conquer provinces in it you would need to go back and forth. So by putting him on the edge of one you make it linear and progressive and not zig zaggy. Best example i can give you is Tyrion that needs to first go North West and then go back to Lothern and then North East

As for Skrag, that is because Karl Franz would have too many enemies to fight, keep in mind Belakor and Kharzak are moved closer to empire, Vlad is still there same as Drycha. And i sus one more evil faction will be close to Karl - Kimmler and Grom are kinda close too.

So Skrag being moved to Borderlands makes sense since Golgfag isn't in the game

No changes here except Cylostra, who has moved North to Dark Elf territory.

Elsewhere though, Games Workshop has seemingly released a Khuresh Snakeman miniature.

Starting positions for Dwarfs and Dark Elves revealed.

3 minute video.
For the Dwarfs, Grombrindal has his own faction now and it starts in Dark Elf territory since he has a Grudge to settle with a certain someone. :pepebusi:

For the Dark Elves, Rakarth is now in Lustria, Malus is in the Northern Chaos Wastes and Lokhir has gone off to plunder East Cathay. :steef:

First off, Vampire Counts starting positions.
2 minute video.
Mannfred is now south of Khemri and Ghorst has gone East to the border of Ind. Ghorst has a pretty spicy start position now near Khugath, Cathay and Imrik with Chaos Dwarfs in the future and maybe even Ind itself.

Elsewhere though, Zerkovich has early access to Immortal Empires and he has some nice info about the Warriors of Chaos.
8 minute video.

Warriors of Chaos starting positions revealed. This is the final faction reveal for now.
3 minute video.

The other thing that happened is that there looks like there was a leak regarding the faction names for the upcoming DLC lords.
4 minute video.
If this is accurate then the lineup looks like this:
• Valkia the Bloody for Khorne.
• Festus the Leechlord for Nurgle
• Vilitch the Curseling for Tzeentch.
• Azazel the Prince of Damnation for Slaanesh.
