I know, I worded it that way on purpose lol.

The true story was that I was looking after this kid, you know while the parents were at work.
We just went to the mall, but I didn't bring my wallet and phone so I didn't want to leave her at the mall alone in case something happened, as that would be my responsibility. So we were about to head back, she held my hand till about we got out of the mall, the house is like 300 meter ish away from the mall so when she let go I didn't think much of it, before she started running lol. I didn't really mind untill she took a wrong turn then I was like well fuck.
The kid even ran into a parking lot where there was a real sense of danger too.
Did get to her before anything happened though. All was well and dandy after though

Somone saw me, a white mf, run after a small japanese child in Japan. Running after her in my fucking sandals and the kid fucking throwing her crocs off and basically just being a kid lol. It wasn't until the end of day that I encountered the police.
It was also coincidentally my birthday, I went to the convenience store to buy some Sake. On my way back there was a patroll car that were just cruising around. Once he saw me he turned around and was like; "Yo, lmao, you don't happen to know about any foreigner running after a kid?"
And I'm like "hehe, that miiiight have been me"
So he gave me a lift back and confirmed all was in order.
