He already has one of the strongest if not the strongest punching power. Nobody is physically stronger than Kaido so he doesnt need more of that punching power because it is already overkill.
He already has advanced CoO, his uptime may improve.
He already has advanced CoA, where do you go from there? Does it get better? His Hardening may improve but it will never be enough to withstand sharp weapons so it isnt needed in the first place.
Advanced CoC? Sure, if that's a thing and does anything significant. For now, it doesnt exist and does nothing.
Awakening? Big question mark, overall the Awakenings of Doffy and Katakuri didnt matter much, gave them some utility but that's it.
His future opponents are not speedsters so he doesnt need more speed, he is already fast enough.

Yes he will withstand a clean hit from them, Garp fought Roger, Whitebeard, Xebec and Big Mom who all use blades. His Awakening will improve all his stats big time, and he will be able to make his body hard( extremely hard) or soft, as well as complete body control.
You wish he was not improving in all his weaknesses but he is. That is your agenda.

If a top tier cant harm him with a sword why use a sword in the first place? Pack your bags and go home if you cant accomplish that.
All Garp's feats are never shown, we never saw how he takes on a sword. Awakening improving him big time? Did it improve Doffy and Katakuri big time? It didnt. You are not Oda and you dont know what his plan is even if you act as if you knew.

It improved Doffy Big time, he went from being fodderized by Gear 4 to competing with Gear 4. Katakuri was struggling to hit Luffy without Awakening. He used it 24/7 in his fight agianst Luffy.

Look at his future opponents, Akainu and Blackbeard. Are they speedsters so he needs more speed? No. Are they more resistant to punches than Kaido so he needs to punch harder? No.
His current abilities are almost good enough to beat Akainu and BB so I think eos Luffy wont be much different. He only needs to stop being reckless and use his head because one clean hit from Akainu and he's dead like a pigeon.
