I remember reading somewhere for the Chinese translation, Kaidou says Children, and I'm here thinking Don't get my hopes up!
But yeah He should be strong, not as strong as his dad, but still somewhat strong.

One piece has become straight up garbage, it started since the time skip but has gotten increasingly bad. This arc is the worst yet. Padding, off screened stretching out useless scenes into entire chapters. 0 tension or stakes. Zero build up for its main arcs villains. The main villain not appearing more than 4 times and 2 of them was in a flashback. The straw hats feeling like they were taking a vacation in an arc where they are going against a YONKO. I could go on but I won’t, but I could...
TLDR: one piece has become pure garbage and the only reason I’m staying around is to know what the one piece is before dipping.
