the marines are not an obstacle for the revolutionaries. The revolutionaries don't want to remove the marines, just the celestial dragons that control them. Akainu has already shown that he dislikes the gorosei and the celestial dragons. In fact, if akainu knew that the celestial dragons were making back handed deals with the yonko, I wouldn't be surprised if he actually allied with the revolutionaries.

if anyone is fighting akainu it's luffy. Next arc is almost guaranteed to be a marine-centered arc. By then Luffy will probably be strong enough to 1v1 akainu

None of these make Katakuri Whitebeard's parallel. What Katakuri represents to Luffy is different from what Whitebeard represents to Roger. Not everything has to be a parallel.
