General & Others Unpopular Opinions?

You think oda introduced the king of the world and the literal opposite of freedom in a battle manga and don’t expect him to be a final villain?
Im not so simple minded to think that he will be just because tf. “Introduced” lol, he’s just a political tyrant of which we see plenty across all fiction

Imu has no set up. Sakazuki and Blackbeard are the ones being built up as the final obstacles and actually have history and a deep blood grudge with Luffy

To corroborate, all the celestial dragons are depicted as weak.

But but they are the face of all the corruption and evil of the world surely they will be the final villians too!

Thinking Imu and the Gorosei are strong enough to be endgame villians makes you retarded. If the World Government has so many top tier fighters just sitting around chilling then how tf are pirates even a problem? What’s stoppin Imu from leading some Admirals into any emperors territory to destroy them? After all they still have the supa strong Gorosei, Kong, the Fleet Admiral and possibly another regular admiral on standby

Only Kong makes sense. You people are a trip. Expecting the elders and Imu to be stronger than the admirals is like expecting Joe Biden and Kim Jung Un to be more powerful than their armies top soldiers wtf

They are merely political leaders, this obsession with Imu being some sort of Kaguya needs to stop
:seriously:
1) They would need to be that strong, otherwise we are going to have a REALLY short final saga.
2) One Piece is not the real world.
3) One Piece is a shonen. Even in Akame ga Kill, the young enemy prince ended up being a massive threat lol.
4) Unpopular Opinion thread.

Edit: Plus, one of the Gorosei and Gandhi has SCARS and a SWORD, respectively. And they were fine with Shanks seeing them alone, even though (by your logic) he could have killed them and ended their control (he already is a wanted man). Lol why do you people really think that they cannot fight???

I am pretty sure that Im would have been usurped if he/she wasn’t powerful. Literally less than 10 people know that Im exists and only six confirmed people with five of them being the Gorosei. If Im dies then they could have complete control. Seriously, this is just how shonens work.

1) Invalid opinion
2) Invalid fact
3) Invalid comparison
4) Valid rebuttal

We're entering the final saga, lots of small timeskips happened, yet most of the SHs are still Hakidiots, very unrealistic given the level of competition and their exposure to Haki users... One of Oda's sh*t decision in years...
Actually one thing that I agree on. We have a crew that is now yonkou level. Everyone should have at least CoO and CoA. But we have robin, franky, chopper, brook, nami that have none and usopp with only CoO(we don’t know what level he is at). Like bruh that makes no sense

Imo Usopp's CoO is really good because that sniper shot is a really damn good feat. Shame there hasn't been anything after that though.

The haki thing doesn’t matter, you don’t need it to be strong as Franky and Robin are proving

The argument that "they don't need it" also doesn't make sense... We have lots of characters who has both but never used it... But the SHs, they can use it anytime in the story...

It's funny that Oda unlocked Zoro's CoC but the rest never unlocked one... Well, Robin arguably...

The thing is, there are lots of Haki users in the NW... They're pretty much left out... It may not be needed to be strong but it's a necessity for their own survival... Do note that there are times that having a Haki is a necessity (i.e. to sense an imminent danger or an extra protection against petty offenses or Logia-based attacks...
