If Dems lose the election fair and square where it's obvious Trump is going to get more electoral votes, im against Dems protesting, just like 2016, lose and move on.

If this for some reason goes to the courts, etc I can understand why there might be protest, also depends on what states as well. But I do not see this happening. 1% chance

On a second note regarding covid. The issue is the lock up has been so botched by so many states, there's no clear direction. One of Trumps aids on Jake Tapper said flat out "we're not going to control the pandemic" we are on a 3rd wave and hospitals are reaching capacity

It is not even the question, if Trump was elected again he would have had the right to choose whoever he wanted, and this new judge election wouldn't have been a democratic scandal.

Here the problem is the fact that the democrats couldn't do the same thing in 2016 a lot of months before the election, and that trump was allowed to do that during the election.

The fact that a president can do something that important during the election is in itself completly crazy. People are currently voting to choose the new president to choose what policy they want for their country and meanwhile Trump chose a new suprem judge that will impact american law and rights a lot.

It is also crazy that these important figures stay on charge until death and if fate dictates it a president, Trump in this case, can decide 3 out of 9 of them cause they died when he was/is in charge. This system has way too much fallacies.
