Unfortunately in the world we live in sense isn't very common
But my point is that people will just assume that everyone else thinks x is bad playing , so if someone plays X they are playing bad on purpose
Without any official rules, people will just play how they personally feel will Help them win/make them enjoy the game better, with which one they focus on depending on themselves
This combined with the other point leads to people being attacked for playing "wrong" when there is no official rule saying it's wrong because it's "common sense" according to the attackers
This type of Gentleman agreement rules works only when people are small in size and have a lot of stuff in common enough for it to work
Which is why it worked 5 years ago, before people from other communities came
Once that happened, gentlemen agreement rules can no longer be upheld, it's invalid as most people aren't in into those agreements, they weren't around when it was agreed upon, to them it's just confusing unspoken rules
