Cell Saga is always going to be my favorite ngl. The androids were awesome, cell was a terrifying and intimidating villain and the gohan pay off with the father son kamehameha is my favorite moment in DBZ. Even more than Goku going super saiyan.

From the start of cell saga to the end of dbz a ton of things happen, you would need 5-10 minutes to explain all the relevant details of that part of dbz while Wano.... Hell, SHs invade Wano, long ass set up of the arc, nothing really relevant happens, maybe mention Luffy trains, Onigashima raid, rooftop fight, SHs fight Kaido underlings like every arc, Luffy beats Kaido and Kidd+Law beat BM. G5 is not even worth mentioning if you don't want to bring in the lowest point of the already bad arc.

And tbh DBZ anime episodes were already long: 5 minutes of people screaming/power ups, 5 minutes of people surprised by powerlevels pretty much each episode and what not... Still compared to Wano it should be light speed, I can't imagine the dread of going through the whole anime Wano arc.

I love gear 5 because it completely fits Luffy, but Goku going Super Saiyan is the pinnacle moment of Shonen manga. Every mangaka wants to replicate the hype of Super Saiyan.
