Yup, and then you can apply that logic to Zoro, etc. If they take in YCs now, what does that say about BBs or Shank's (if fought)? They still may possibly fight the Admirals, another growth level. I really think YCs are a huge jump in strength atm. Also really nothing in the all star fighting styles that point to Jinbe fighting Jack or Sanji fighting Queen at this point. In fact, I see Kid having more of a chance to fight Queen, considering he defeated Snack and probably has the base to take on another YC. Inu/Neko should for all intents and purposes, fight Jack.
The only reason people argue Zoro vs. King (and trust me I did too), was because King has a sword and the idea that he's the number 2, to which we don't even know if Luffy is getting a dedicated fight against Kaido. Hell, I almost expect Who's Who to be Zoro's opponent at this point. Taking a major New World captain under Kaido seems like a better growth point for Zoro, same for Sanji if he faces Sasaki or X Drake or something (idk).

What you are saying mean that Oda has to draw for at less 5+years (i see that the 5years will be a bit longer due to the corona virus) and I dont see that happening.
This arc is a main stone for the straw hat crew, all the previous headcanon about powerscalling have no influence with Oda. If Oda has an interest in drawing an epic fight with katana were Zoro is under extreme pressure and has to overcome an extreme fight well King is there for that reason. Same for Luffy. You know if Luffy defeat Kaido doesnt mean he is stronger or has an advantage against Black Beard.
All character have different skills and operate different. If Zoro win against King doesnt mean he is stronger than Shiru because this 2 characters are totally different.

There is absolutely zero build up for Zoro vs King, Sanji vs Queen, or Jinbe vs Jack. There is, however, a ton of build up for:
Marco vs King
Tobi roppo vs Queen
Inu and neko vs jack
If side characters take on the calamities, then the only thing the m3 can do is take on the yonko. When I looked at this possibility, it actually made a lot of sense.
Zoro vs Kaido has a ton of foreshadowing and build up
food is one of big mom's only weaknesses and sanji can bake another cake.
Both Sanji and jinbe have a history with big mom.
the chapter just put things into perspective.
I just want to know who Kid/Killer are fighting. Law received a similar focus in PH/DR. It's time for Kid/Killer to get good moments like this, in the least Kid. He's part of that trio (Luffy, Law, Kid). If he doesn't fight Queen, then I'd like to see Smoothie or something. We already know he's beaten Snack, so he's up there.
For the record I think most people are getting fights before the Yonko, or at least achieving signficant feats against the Yonko. Either Marco fights King, or he is central to bringing Kaido/BM down I'd say.
