Chapter Discussion WGS title once again confirmed to be mainly ''SKILL'' based

- ''Sword Play'' lmao
- Greatest Swordsman

ITS GREATEST SWORDSMAN, you can literally hear Japanese says ''saikyo'' yet, they also translate as GREATEST SWORDSMAN, as I told you ZKKclowns before, Strongest Swordsman is a dumb translation even if the japanese says saikyo sometimes, (sometimes they also said dai kengou, not saikyo too). Because thats a fighting style, you don't say ''strongest marksman'', you say ''greatest marksman'', same for swordsmanship.

ZKK Clowns thinking Oda would be mad enough to make an Emperor weaker than Luffy underling Zoro's opponent :milaugh:

Whats next? Shiryu > Shanks? Is Zoro going to tell Shanks like he told Lucci, he isn't good enough to fight Luffy? :suresure:

Shanks is an Emperor that Oda kept it even after Kaido and Big mom, he isn't going to be equal to Zoro's opponent Mihawk, let alone weaker.
Wow, so you were right all along?

:specialmeh:

Yoru is the strongest because Mihawk's haki made it into the strongest.
Thus, if Shanks' haki is stronger, his sword would be stronger than Yoru.
But it isnt which leads us to the conclusion that Mihawk's haki>Shanks' haki.
Nope, that's a bad statement, again Luffy Sandals= Kaidou's Haisenkai, because of Haki, Right?

Again Oda and Toei Said greatest SwordPlay and Swordsmanship.

They didn't Said Mihawk is stronger than Shanks.

You see the difference?

HA001

World's Strongest Swordsman

Because Shanks is a swordsman. Didn't say greatest sword play than kaido did he.

It is not a bad statement as I am comparing apples and apples instead of your argument of apples and oranges...
And Luffy's haki isnt stronger than Kaido's haki to begin with.
I see the difference but you know fully well that Oda is a pro baiter and likes to mislead people.
For 26 years he has been pulling Shanksbros by their nose and they still hope...

Your post hurts your point and proves Oda correct. Your problem is you're too focused on the term used instead of the meaning behind the term.

As you said, if it was a sharpshooter you would say the greatest marksman. How would they achieve that title? One way would be by beating their competition in some type of tournament or fight. The keywords are "beating competition". Would you consider the greatest marksman weak? Of course not, you would consider them incredibly strong and deadly. Someone you don't want going after you.

Now let's apply that to swordsman. You say the title really is the world greatest swordsman. How did Mihawk achieve that title? Oda tells us it was by him traveling the world to fight and beat strong swordsman until there was no more worthy challengers. There it is, his title is a strength based title. He achieved it because of his combat and fighting strength. He didn't achieve his title by cutting mats.

As you can see, it doesn't matter what term you want to use because they mean the same. Even Oda tells us he sees no difference between the words strongest and greatest.
