What Are You Currently Playing?

Oh no, just the Sands of Time trilogy as of now.

Thanks for the rec! I'll give it a try if I can get it. The artstyle and visuals look great and I've heard the parkour is fantastic.
Yeah, it's a quite cool spin on the regular formula. I was at first put off because it wasn't part of the trilogy, but it stands on its own feet and is enjoyable.

Btw when I saw someone playing PoP it awoke some great childhood memories. Playing the trilogy on my potato PC while it huffs and puffs was good times

Yeah I was unsure about it too for that reason haha. But I've heard lots of good things about it. Does it have the sand powers like rewind and slowdown?

Glad to hear that you remembered the good times you had. You should replay the trilogy! I never played them as a kid but the first ever game I played was very similar (TMNT 2007).

I bought them as a three-in-one around 2013 but couldn't play them until 2025 because I barely played games until this year.

But I'm glad I played them - although I still need to replay WW to finish the Dahaka fight because I didn't get all the upgrades lol.

Imo the Sand powers in 2008 are even more creative, though iirc they're jinn powers in that game. A lot of them have to do with water.

I was planning to replay Warrior Within since it's by far my favorite out of the 3, but I'll need to wait a bit since I need an actual PC to enjoy it (and not a laptop like I got now)

Oh I'm on a laptop too! I got a portable CD drive, it attaches to my laptop with a USB cable and I just put the CD in it and played it that way.

That said, the game did crash once or twice and keep making me use safe mode settibgs so...yeah, a PC might be better if you can get it.

Just finished TMNT (2007) this Sunday. All challenge maps done, all goodies obtained.

This was the first proper game I ever played as a kid. I bought it with my own money - I didn't have the cash to buy Shattered Dimensions, sadly - back in 2013.

It took me several months to complete the story mode back then, which is hilarious because I did it in 5 hours on replay.

Like the movie it's based on, it's very good, very underrated but not perfect. Great visuals and music with a unique comic style of storytelling.

Gameplay is like a much faster, more acrobatic and automated Prince of Persia. The worst things about this game are that the controls can be inconsistent at times, there are some areas where it's easy to get stuck and the bosses are too easy.

But overall it's great fun. I replayed the story mode after finishing it to get the challenge maps and it was worth my while.

Kizaruber Eats

Tysm Ali for my new set, horohorohoro!

I really want to play Bioshock, but I don't have time.:chirstsad:
Seeing Bioshock and Prince of Persia mentioned here makes me so happy! I hope you get to play it soon MMD, especially if you've not played it before! It's such an unforgettable experience...Same with Prince of Persia Sands of Time...
