Kaido's family used to live on Onigashima long before his and Oden's lives. This connection to the oni island is one of the reasons why he invaded Wano.
As a kid Kaido was orphaned and spent some time wandering in the New World before meeting Rocks D Xebeck who noticed him and took him in his crew, making him a pirate and becoming the only real father figure Kaido ever had. He was closer with Linlin, who in her own twisted way acted as a big sister figure to him, than with the rest of Xebeck's subordinates.
Whitebeard tried to avenge Oden's death but Linlin interferred and prevented him from beating Kaido.
Kaido and Big Mom are not the only Yonkos to have snailphones to talk with each other directly, Whitebeard also had two special snaiphones to talk with them as a former fellow Rocks Pirate.

okay, I'll give some of my headcannons, and I hope I get back to it one day either to laugh at it, or to say I was right:
1- Last 3 SH recruitment: Momo and both Pedro and Okiku will follow!
2- Robin will die after successfully giving back the knowledge of reading poneglyph to Kozoki Lineage (Momo)... but she will find out the truth of the world/void century/ achieving her dream before dying... basically Robin doing what her mothers last words are... carrying the message to future generation as her final moment of death
3- This was very recent... just few moments ago I came up with... The Frog with Usopp is Yamato... Kaido's son.. he's in his full zoan form... he'll have an ability to release oil and actually do fast healing to make Usopp lie come true
4- Sanji will activate his exoskeleton in the climax of his fight this war...
5- Zoro will get the Nidai after his Sandai breaks this arc... and the Nidai will be waaay too powerful, even stronger than Enma despite being in same rank, because Nidai will be cursed...
6- Zoro opening his eye is a boost for his observational skills... so it's not haki boost or curse boost... rather his observation and reading the movement of enemy will spike tremendously...
7- Kidd will drop the Giant sword on Kaido or Big Mom, it will be his final biggest attack during that arc...
8- The Gorosei will start a purge during their formal introduction in combat.. in process... they will eliminate SOME BIG NAMES...
9- Imu has the power Of "creation" Paramecia...the father of all DFs, and the most powerful of all types... it's God's ability basically... and naturally he'll have max haki level in all types... I can imagine those big statues in Marojoa who look like soldiers... they are his army... and Gorosei are his royal guards... power of creation is so hax he can create ANYTHING in his imagination... literally anything... meaning.. create magma, lightening, tremors, darkness, armies, meteor, ice.. etc! Basically Luffy encounters all hax DFs he faced before in his last fight combined Lol
10- Xebec is alive
11- Xebec was a good man/NOT evil... and big named pirates followed him for different reasons... Kaido respected his strength... Big Mom saw the goal of "peace" with him.. saw him like mother caramel who understood her... WB respected him (only reason I can see why he was his right hand man) and I never doubt WB morality in those matters..
12- Roger learnt the truth of what Xebec was Seeking and what he knew about the darkness of the world LATER...
13- Shanks is Xebec son, and Roger respected Xebec enough to take his son and raise him... same way WB/Garp took Roger son under their wing
14- Xebec was called a "demon" only because he was looking into the taboo of the world which angers CD/Gorosei/Imu-sama... same way Nico Robin is called "devil's child" by spreading that they are devil because they are searching the truth...
15- Garp will die at Wano war arc.
16- Sabo and Bonney will be sent to Wano by Kuma as his final act to help Revs... reason he chose wano is it is isolated from WG reach... Sabo will hear of citizens talk about war on Kaido, then participates

Tashigi comes from a family of samurai who originate from Wano. Her mother was an Onna-Bugeisha (female warrior) who instilled in her a sense of righteousness and pride. One she continues to live by. Until her mother was killed by swordsmen during a pirate attack on her hometown.
Tashigi was then captured among other children for trafficking, but was rescued by the marines, which led to her joining them and training hard in order to strip all dishonorable wielders of their meito. In the meantime, she was the only female in her class when she joined.
This led to her being under-estimated and ridiculed by her peers for attempting to excel in a field dominated by men. However, she quickly rose to the top of her class and was stationed over to Smoker's division, someone who's been keeping an eye on her progress. She has never forgotten her mother's teachings and the code of bushido, and works hard to live up to them everyday. Even when circumstances make it very hard to.

I just think we need a fishman as a D. so I think Xebec will be a fishman. A flying fish to be precise, as Roc in the legend of Sinbad was a huge predatory bird.
The rox alliance lost to the WG due to Whitebeard turning sides and joining Roger and Garp. The Rox alliance lost thanks to WB betrayal. Xebec had to go into hiding a result bc of a vast operation to uncover his whereabouts by the WG. He fled and went underground with an army of fishmen. Together they have secretly made alliances with some tribes of giants and spent forty years intermixing with giants creating a lot of mix-raced warriors called watons (see the giant at the Davy Back fight was half giant, half fishman).
Xebec and his fishmen had to cède all ties with Fishman Island due to the relentless pursuits by the WG. However, the day is near when Rocks and his son will come to take the word with a storm, this time with an even mightier army of fishmen.
Xebec’s son will want to be the protector of fishman island so there will come a time when Luffy will have to fight him, not to death or anything, but just to prove who is better at the end of the story
xebec and his son are as of now both legit admiral level
Law betrayed us, he will pay dearly

1. Zoro s dad is shimotsuki ushimaru. He will find out why and how he reached east blue.
2. Sanji 's mother Sora is a celestial dragon . Sanji is half blood CD.
3. Im is actually nice guy and wants world peace. Turns out D clan did not like Ims control over the freedom and it lead to dispute of true peace.
4.Vivi can control pluton thanks to her ancestors power.
5. Not a popular opinion its likely xebec and brook were formerly partner for a royal ship back in west blue. Brook inspired xebec to start piracy and rest was history ;)
6. Shanks is son of Xebec and he will side with Gorosei in final war. Luffys final opponent will be shanks not blackbeard.
7. Dragon rescued zoro from kaido . He and Ushimaru are close friend ;) . Dragon learns about D clan during this event .
