Oda can't explain his powers and I think he also doesn't care here so don't look too deep into it.

The best way to accept this power up is to imagine it to be just another layer of CoA on top of CoA already.

Adv CoA are Ryou.

Adv CoC doesn't internally destroys you but more of a better AP attack. Black lightnings are good demonstration of that.

This makes perfect sense‚ adv Coa is destroying from inside and adv Coc is being able to hit from far away
Thing is wasn't Luffy training in Udon to hit things without touching them ? He didn't know about adv Coc yet
