Current Events What if Marco, Kid, and Law took out the All Stars instead of ZSJ?

Marco? Would be rubbish. Wow, Whitebeard's right hand man beating Kaido's right hand man. Shock of the century. Really invested in that fight.

Kid and Law, eh, I can get behind it. It's not what I want, which is ZSJ vs the Calamities, but I can understand why Oda could feasibly want to do it. Worst Generation stepping up to the plate, taking down the old order, establishing themselves as the up and coming top dogs. I would enjoy that, even if it isn't my preferred outcome.
It would be stupid for Kid and Law to be fighting Kaido’s underlings while Luffy handles the big man himself. What was even the point of portraying them alongside Luffy at the start of the invasion if that’s the case? Oda has tried very hard to make the SNs look close to Luffy, even when it’s completely illogical (Apoo wrecking Luffy). I can’t see him not having Kid and Law helping Luffy against Kaido

RS Sanji showed superiority to Page One without using DJ and CoA. Zoro hasn't shown Enma training.

Both of them also haven't shown fully what have they learnt during TS.

It would be lame if Flying Six who are around their level or significantly weaker can push them to the limit.

If there are opponents who can push them to their limits, it should calamities who are stronger than them.

Similar to Katakuri who was stronger than Luffy pre FS pushed Luffy past his limit.

Who says Luffy would be doing it by himself? Zoro would be completely available in this hypothetical situation to help out. There's Marco who's just arrived. Yamato needs to have some sort of confrontation with her father. And the obvious one, the nine samurai who are literally standing in front of Kaido right now ready to take him down.

After the Nine Scabbards get beaten, Luffy, Law, Kid, and Yamato will step in imo.

Well as of now,Marco isn't yet in the castle and we Know King and Jack mysteriously disappeared this chapter while Kid,Zoro and law are nearby.
Last chapter,Zoro,LAW&Kid got to share panels together so I think if anyone is fighting the calamities in the upcoming chapters,it has to be the 3 of them.
Luffy is fighting Bm for sure in the upcoming chapters.
Yamato is busy with Ulti
Who's who gonna show up on the stage, and someone will have to face him->Jinbei is near.
Sasaki will be coming,Killer may face him.
Sanji is missing and will probably run into either Drake, Page 1 or Black Maria.
Queen is on the stage and I think is going to face ex schichibukai Law.
I expect
Kid vs King
Law vs Queen
Zoro vs Jack going by their respective panel placement last chapter.
Oda seems to ignore obvious predicted matchups like Inu&Neko vs Jack and goes for the unexpected so we might as well go with what has been portrayed to us lately.

It’s like Seth Rollins said. How would it make any sense at all for Luffy to be fighting the Yonko while his top 3 men can’t even fight the YCs?
Oh, I agree with both of you...I don’t think Oda does right now, even if he has historically, because even Luffy acknowledged that this is not necessarily their fight. Zoro/Sanji/Jinbe may match up with the Calamities yet, but it makes more sense narratively for the Scabbards to take them on as they were also present for Oden’s execution and the conflagration of Kozuki Castle. Based on the last chapter as well as the one about to come out, Oda clearly wants a showdown between them and Kaido/his YCs regardless of how the Straw Hats would match up with them. Obviously, any of this can change on a dime, but at this particular moment, we can’t reasonably guarantee that Z/S/J will get a crack at King/Queen/Jack.

I can’t see the Calamities fighting the Scabbards. It’s clear that Oda wants to give the Scababrds and Kaido some time alone, and having the Calamities just randomly show up on top of the dome somehow in order to aid Kaido would just kill the vibe. Also the Scabbards have never shown any interest in the Calamities.

They engaged with them and held them off just prior to attacking Kaido in the last chapter...also, if you’re implying the Scabbards would have no beef with the Calamities, the top ranking men under the command of their sworn enemy, you’re being willfully ignorant. I’m not saying it’s a hundred percent certain, because none of this is.

I'm okay with Law and Kid but that would mean Luffy solos Kaidou which would be crazy in the powerscaling perspective. Maybe LZS vs Kaidou?

Marco honestly should have no significant fighting role in the story. He's a character of the past generation that has little panel time in the story so far. He shouldn't overshadow the more important characters, that would be lame.

tbh considering Luffy want to take down 2 yonkos which is insanely hard for his level rn, then zoro has to atleast beat king. but imo jimbe is stronger than lanji so he will take Care of Queen while lanji will do his Mr prince shit

I highly doubt Oda would have Luffy defeat two Yonkos in one on one in a single arc. If he did that then the manga might as well lose all tensions

Its far more likely to be a 8 on 2 Supernovas Vs Yonkos, to sympolize the Supernova generation getting closer to surpassing the Rocks/Roger Generation

yes you'r probably right but usually when Luffy is serious he Always manage to do what he says. so he will still somehow give the end punch to 2 very weakened yonkos at worst which is still insane imo.

I mean if that group beats the calamities then what do the sh's do? If oda goes this route then he has to think of something to do for zsj. This goes double for zoro and sanji since they just got pu's to show off and they haven't went all out. Imo i like for:

Marco - to stall bm or kaido and be one of first and main fighters against bm or kaido

Kidd - to take smoothie and be one of the main fighters against kaido

Law - to take pero or a tobbi roppo then be a main fighter for bm

Since i did it for those 3 I'll do it for the sh's:

Zoro - to take king and be in the main group that takes kaido

Sanji - to take queen and be in the main group that takes down bm

Jinbe - to take a tobbi roppo and/or a number then be in the main group to take bm
