Protect from what? Prometheus? Boro Breath? Reiju tanked Heavenly Fire which is fire based attack from Big Mom and didn't have a single scratch. Heavenly Fire or Boro Breath won't harm Sanji. Sanji can protect Luffy and tank Heavenly Fire or Boro Breath. Sanji can go invisible which can't be detected by Kaido and Big Mom due to their trash CoO.

And ? It's Sanji PU so he is free to use it. When we talk about Sanji durability : there is base Sanji and RS Sanji. If Sanji puts the RS he gains its durability.
