General & Others What is Blackbeard's endgame plan ?

#1
Big Mom's ultimate ambition is of becoming the Pirate Queen so she can turn Totto Land into a real utopia where everyone see each other "from eye to eye" and do the same to the rest of the world; Kaido on the other hand wants to rename Wano New Onigashima and to turn it into a lawless paradise for pirates while spreading fear, chaos and war to the rest of the world.

What is Blackbeard's ultimate ambition and plan, the one he truly has beyond becoming the Pirate King ?

Considering the parallels to Rocks and his interest in history, I think we can safely assume he wants to reveal the WG’s true tyranny and possibly install himself as the new king of the world. Piracy has always seemed like a means to an unrelated end for Blackbeard; he wants to find One Piece and gain the power/reputation that comes with being Pirate King, but I still feel like his ambitions are aimed at something higher.

Chances seem good that he’ll also be going after the Ancient Weapons, although I wonder how Kaido’s announcement last chapter will alter that plan. I’m of the mindset that he was referencing one of them in chapter 956 when he said he wanted to get something before the Marines could, and perhaps that’s how Vivi comes back into play (if she is Uranus as some have posited).

Since BB is the meant to be the closest to a real pirate, is the opposite of Luffy (see his chapter intro) and also has heavy resemblances with Xebec and his crew (also the name of his original ship, beehive island) I guess that on one hand he wants a world just like his beehive, pirate paradise with no rules, but also wants to be the supreme ruler and become the king of the world (like IM and like Xebec original dream was) which is also the opposite of Luffy's dream: Luffy wants to be the man with most freedom while BB (amd Xebec) wants to take all the people freedom to make them slaves under him. So a pirate society where there are no rules bar the law of the strongest and since he is the strongest (in this dream world he wants to make) everybody has to obey blindly his comands (again like IM, king of the world), to make an example he would most likely be treated like a god king, or a celestial dragon in a smaller scale, with the difference he will not need bodyguards (admirals) amd his rule and so power will be recognized everywhere in the world.

I definitely its Pluton, considering Cobra knew the location and Garp mentioned that the issue involved Alabasta. I'm not sure they will be central to 2 ancient weapons. Plus, I feel like making another living weapon sort of steps in Shirahoshi's role a bit. Idk.

That’s fair, the Vivi-Uranus bit isn’t a theory of mine so much as one I’ve seen tossed around the Internet. I still think Teach is likely going to Alabasta, and kidnapping a princess to demand the country’s hidden treasure is a very Blackbeard move.

But is she already back at Alabasta? I feel like its been way too quick and something clearly happened after the Reverie. I feel like they arent heading to that country specifically

The timing of that chapter is a bit confusing, so I don’t know, that may be the case. If she’s not, then I rescind that part of my first post, but the rest remains in effect.

I think blackbeard wants to be "king of the world", like Rocks did. Basically, he wants to replace Imu
And here comes Luffy like a wrecking ball destroying Blackbeard, and the World Govenrment, an institution that has been running for 800 years, all in one swoop lmao!. Luffy is truly a balancing act sent by heaven of the One Piece world.

Freedom, same as the other D's. Dark mirror to Luffy, after all

His version of freedom, though, is completely lawless anarchy. We saw when he got the Gura Gura, he went temporarily nuts and started raving about how he'd destroy everything. Destroy all the current institutions of the world and leave chaos in its place. It's the ultimate freedom, in some respects. A world like Pirate Island.
