That's what I believe.

I think when they said it hasn't awaken,they are not talking about a DF user using DF awakening power. Instead, they mean the DF is still missing and hasn't appeared for centuries.

They are not talking about "awakening" , it's misleading.

They are talking about "re-appearing".

On top of that we have already outlined why Luffy's, Law's, Kid's, BM's and Kaido's fruit make zero sense from a logical perspective.

Oda wouldn't have revealed Luffy's DF being guarded on a Marine ship if it wasn't somehow going to be relevant later in this arc. I have no doubt that the Gorosei were talking about Luffy's fruit in the current chapter. Oda did say pay attention to Luffy at Jump Festa 2022. He's probably going to reveal something relating to Joyboy.


Two devil fruits were said to be worth billions in the 1 shot. One was Luffy's devil fruit and the other was Law's. My moneys on Gomu Gomu being the legendary fruit that the Gorosei are talking about. After all nobody has been a bigger nuisance to the WG than Luffy.

The WG has known about Kaido and his fruit for decades. Why would they suddenly start talking/sweating about it?

Seriously guys, pls think logically.

It's the same reason Luffy's, Kid's, Law's and BM's fruits make no sense. Those fruits didn't just suddenly re-awaken/re-appear "after centuries" like the Gorosei claim this chapter. The WG has known about those fruits (and their users) being active for a long time now.

Again: It's not a fake name, Oda just toyed with the japanese myth of a carpe turning into a dragon if it swims up a waterfall. His DF is literally called "Fish Fish Fruit, model: Blue Dragon". It straightforward says what it is.

On top of that the WG has known about his fruit (and Momo's artificial fruit) for a long time. It didn't just re-appear after centuries (and they are talking about it re-appearing after centuries, not about DF awakening).

1) If they have no idea about the full potential of it, why would they fear it so much?

2) Again: The Gorosei are talking about a fruit that they just learned that it has re-appeared "after centuries of not awakening/appearing".

The line is, "あの実は我々にとっても伝説だ", meaning, "Even to us, that fruit is a legend." That means that Luffy, Kaido, Momo, Brook, Robin, Law, Chopper, etc. can't be the user they're talking about because the Gorosei already knew of them. The fruit has to be one that has only recently come into their attention.
