What is the meaning of your real name?

Roman is a male first name. It has distant origins dating back to the Roman Empire and the Latin language. It comes from the Latin word "romanus", which means "of Rome". In this initial sense, the title "Roman" means "a citizen of the Roman Empire", a man of Roman (or Byzantine) culture, Italian, Latin or Greek.

My second name doesn't have a meaning.

Oh you can give the uncommon name, but make sure people using the latin alphabet can say it correctly so you don't have to correct them for the rest of your life. :catcry: I considered changing my legal name just to have the more common spelling to stop correcting people.

Chinese people give their children chinese and english names if their child grows up in america/europe. That's also an option I suppose :)
there are a lot of names that are known in many areas around the world, Adam, Sarah, Suzan, Nancy, Zain, Sami & many other names are compatiable almost anywhere you go ...
i feel ya though, i had a teacher who changed his name at his 50s because he couldn't stand being called his legal name ..

what do you mean? enlighten me please ...

Both my first and last name are from arabic origin and related to Shia islam so pretty common in Iran
My first name is Reza and this is what wikipedia gave me
Reza is a Persian name, originating from the Arabic word Riḍā, which literally means "the fact of being pleased or contented; contentment, approval" In religious context, this name is interpreted as satisfaction or "perfect contentment with God's will or decree".
And my last name means tolerant and forgiving
