Oda and the editors declared many times,in the last few years:
-"Wano is a pivotal arc,the most pivotal of all the arcs"
-"If you stopped reading OP,begins again with Wano, its a pivotal arc"
-"At the end of the arc,the Strawhats will learn pivotal informations about the One Piece"
-"After the end of the arc,the end of the series will begin"
-"One Piece will end in 5 years"
But then you see Oda going very slow with Wano. How is this coherent? Well, there is only one way in which this can be coherent....its the fact that not only right after Wano we will going directly to the endgame, but the fact that Wano is already part of the endgame! And its the same for the Reverie. But the majority of the fandom is convinced (and maybe they are right) that the end is still far away, because they have a list of events that must happen,in their opinion:
-"Mihawk must do this and this"
-"Shanks must do this"
- "We're going to the moon"
etc.
Now, i think that Oda will subvert all the expectations, and the fact that the Kaido/Big Mom alliance basically declared war to the World Government,is already a big hint that maybe the fandom didnt take too seriously...but guys,i think we might be already in the endgame! But the majority of the fandom probably didnt realized it yet. Does this mean we will never get an Elbaf arc? Maybe,or maybe not. The fact that there was a hint about Prince Loki makes me think that we will hear more about Elbaf, thats sure. The giants will surely be important in the endgame. But that doesnt necessarily mean we will get an Elbaf arc, because i think the majority of the fandom is underestimating many Oda's hints both in his declarations and in his story that we're going directly to the endgame now. We'll see.
