Basically about British explorers in or around 1849 trying to find a passage over Canada and to the Pacific when they get trapped in ice. One thing leads to another and now they're in a fight to survive.

IDK, I saw it on Comcast. It has slight supernatural elements but mostly deals with survival, leadership, societal pressures of the era etc. Real good.

I have been rewatching The End of the F***ing World with a friend, I haven't watched season 2 all the way so I'm excited about us starting it.

If you like dark comedy I do recommend it.

This is an amazing 70s anime that deals with themes of immortality, suffering, human nature, etc through the eyes of a young boy and his mother-like companion as they travel through the galaxy on a fucking space train. It's amazing. Existentialist themes are all over the place. It's episodic-- each episode is a new planet. Highly, highly recommended!
