Sukuna did use a heavenly pact to assist with his domain. It’s like in Nen, an agreement you make to empower your ability.

It's the opposite - because he managed to create a Domain without closing its barrier, his oponents have an escape route. And because of that escape route a pact is made (or rather bestoved on him) where he can change the diameter of his Domain.

Tbf a lot of the nuanced discussions fans have wouldn't be had if not for faulty translations in the early stages of the manga.

Hell, Malevolent Shrine itself was reffered as a domain without a barrier when in fact it has one but it is not closed (semantics ik but it's part of the story)

I also feel like it’s harder to absorb explanations from the anime since you can’t control the pace like when you’re reading and there’s also action/distraction on the screen.

I won’t be shocked if they just do voice over for the action for a big part of it rather than the full cuts

Ok it is near impossible to open domains without barriers (wasn't the common thing at Sukuna's era and then sorceres evolved to have barrier domains?) but we are talking about individuals that are meant to do near impossible things. I didn't understood that heavenly pact Sukuna make to have a domain without barrier and I remember he said he would make one with barrier after Gojo's realized he couldn't used domains anymore.

Yeah Gojo's barrier were always broken what I actually meant was ways of countering it because after the first or second domain clash they were pretty even and the last one or 2 Gojo even won the trade making Sukuna to summoning Mahoraga. People hype the fuck out of Gojo because of his 6 eyes and limitless but in terms of geniallity Yuta and Yuji are much better.

I remember saying that Yuta had a better RCT because Gojo couldn't use it to heal others. But yes I know Yuta has more CE while Gojo have basically infinite CE because he can regen with his 6 eyes.

First of all why would Sukuna use any of them as shield for hollow purple if Sukuna is not using any of them as shield for the attacks he is receiving? Second why would them being obliterate for example at the Hollow Purple explosion if they can use RCT?

How both Gojo + allies and Sukuna + allies thought they'd had better chances if they waited for 30 days?

Maybe Gojo didn't knew she had a chance right there when they met and people didn't knew they would be able to give Sukuna extra fingers?
