General & Others What was the Worst Plot Point in One Piece?

#22
What was the worst plot point in One Piece, from any arc. Whether it was something that was added but never resolved, or something that just annoyed you personally. If you could erase one plot point in One Piece what would it be?
I didn't like the key plotline in Enies Lobby.
CP9 was supposed to be full of professional assassins, why are they playing around games with the Straw Hats? Why did each of them have keys with them, and why would they even have the real key with one of them? And why even tell the Straw Hats?
This whole thing annoyed me a bit.

Odens implementation to the story is a confirmed retcon as prior to his backstory were told specifically by the seakjngs only Roger could hear them besides shirahoshi. Or when Ganfall said that Roger had no way to decipher the poneglyphs but could understand them by listening to their voices?

Here is what the Sea Kings said about Luffy and Roger being able to hear them :

In other words you are not remembering the story well

The sea kings never said only Roger could hear them, they said that someone hearing them happened once before.

Secondly :

Roger had indeed no way to decipher the poneglyph.. BY HIMSELF. He could only hear them. The fact that oden was able to write - and therefore Roger wasable to understand and write something - was prepared ALL THE WAY BACK in Skypiea here:

When we look at the interview and the structure of the story, we can say that Oda's purpose was to make Wano the center of his story at the beginning (hence why it thought it would last 5 years). So in reality, there are reasons to think that Oda had already Oden in mind WAY BEFORE he wrote skypiea.

There was no retcon here.

Roger had to be helped by someone to write the poneglyph, EVEN when he was able to "hear" the voice of the stone.

------------------

In other word, the "critik" here stands on nothing but missunderstanding and missremembering of the story.

Kaido/BM not getting awakenings
That's, once again, a good thing and not a bad thing.

“It only happened once before”
“Only happened ONCE before”
“ONCE”

Please tell me how this and Oden also being able to hear their voices is not a direct retcon….

Once means "one time in the past in front of us we saw someone replying to us" It means that they are only remembering this happening once in front of them. What do you not understand here ??

AGAIN, what happened is Roger replying to THEM (since he understood them). At no point their are saying that Roger was the only one being able to hear them. They are simply sayin "once before, someone replied to us also"

Oden is literally staying silent !! FFS Read or reread I don't know, but there is a problem of comprehension here.

The statement of once means that only one other. Dude stop trying to defend a clear retcon. Oda doesn’t write a perfect story
