Questions & Mysteries Whats Kaido's role if he survived?

Let's assume it happens. What does that mean for him when BBPs and SHs fight? :quest:
Well, at that point I would see Zoro killing him, finally. Not ZKK because Wano's plot would be over, but still quite a clear remind to Ryuma: evil dragon, that anyway did enslave Wano, very durable, etc.

The people who think Yamato will join, even though I am not at all into that, could go for a daughter vs father fight instead.

I think it would be pointless at that moment in story and Zoro already has superior achievement when it comes to cutting tough characters. And Shiryu is locked in as Zoro's fight among BBPs. Even if Kaido became a member, he wouldn't face Zoro over Shiryu.

Zoro and Kaido already had a go at each other on the rooftop and Oda has shown what he wanted to show between them.
Further encounter between them is unnecessary and Zoro doesn't really need such a hypetool, it is more useful on the people I mentioned.

Not necessarily over Shiliew.
People thought Zoro would have killed Kaido after his fight with King, for example.

Sure, It wouldn't be ZKK since that had sense only in Wano, but Zoro killing an evil Dragon, and more so an evil dragon that enslaved Wano, would always be a nice Ryuma reference whenever that happens.

But outside of that, yeah, as a "feat" It would be more useful for the likes of Imu, Garling, Dragon, ecc...

Don't think he is returning. But if he did he finally found/forced out Joyboy which seemed like his goal all along. He built his army to destroy the world. But what does that mean? I always took it as meaning destroy Mariejois and the WG, not island after island. He is himself from a poor island and his idol Xebec tried to become King of the world ousting the WG. I think Kaido realized he wasn't Joyboy 30 years ago so he couldn't destroy the world/WG. He then decided to find/force out Joyboy and later join the war against the detested Tenryubitoo.

I think at the end it can be a scenario where its imu vs most one piece characters where most villains get to do something.

Other than that there is no narrative element for him to pay.

Oda can weaken him and have him join CG may.
I agree with this, I kinda think he would feel fulfilled after falling to the new joyboy, so he wouldn't have much motivation to continue his pirate career.

Chances are Big Mom and Kaido will end up being our "Tour Guides to the Underworld".

Big Mom and Kaido both fell into a volcano. Volcanoes are usually connected to the molten cores of their planets. But, we already know there's something else going on with the One Piece World and it's "Underworld". The Chapter 1138 Mural seems to indicate that there was some sort of "Underground Mining Operation" going on, back during the First World. This is probably also connected to the holes in the ocean that the Ancient Weapon Uranos is creating. I think eventually we're going to visit that place and see what got left behind down there. Because chances are there's something down there that's just waiting for it's chance to return to the surface.

One way or another, I think we're going to eventually end up venturing into this "Underworld". Luffy's either going to sail straight into one of these holes in the ocean. Or Laugh Tale has some sort of express elevator to "Hades". And if and when that happens, it would kind of be useful to have a couple of characters who we already know, and have spent the last few months wandering around trying to find a way out of this place, to help us explain what's going on down here.

We've seen from Elbaph's "Underworld Layer" as well as Brook and V Nusjuro's powers, that Oda is setting up the Underworld as most likely being a cold, frozen place. Because chances are, there's something frozen in the Underworld, waiting to get thawed out. This could be the "True Sun" or "Forbidden Sun", like the original form of the Mother Flame. Or it could be a group of people, like the Dragons, who may have been imprisoned underground for the last few millennia. Or maybe both. More on that over here:
https://worstgen.alwaysdata.net/for...message-will-be-the-dragons-are-coming.55673/

Either Big Mom and Kaido will be helping the Strawhats navigate and explain this Underground world. Or, alternately, Big Mom and Kaido will end up "waking up" whatever's down there. Thus either setting off a timer for what would basically be a bomb, or leading a army to the surface to conquer the surface world. Whatever Big Mom and Kaido are doing down there COULD kick off the true final threat in the manga.

Either way, I do believe we'll end up seeing these two again. They may be enemies or they may be allies. But, either way, we're probably going to see what's "under the sea" soon enough.

End Game fight.

-Yamato fights a Gorosei but is only strong enough to stall the Gorosei
-Yamato becomes exhausted and needs a breather
-Kaido saves Yamato
-Kaido is stronger than Gorosei but Immortality in an Issue
-In the end Kaido and Yamato 2v1 vs a Gorosei until Immortality gets solved or Joyboy 2.0 defeats Imu
Would be nice. Despite his flaws Kaido was 10 times the dad of most other dead beats in the series (hello Yasopp, Shanks, Dragon and so on). He tried his best to bring up Yamato through tough love so that she one day could be Shogun, in other words inherit Wano and Beast Pirates once he was gone.

It would have to be Warcury, think Luffy said something like "you're even tougher than Kaido" with regards to how hard his body is. Battle of the true WSC. Even better if Warcury had something to do with Vodka Kingdom and genocide of Onis, maybe through some law as he is God of Justice.

I won´t say racist, but we all know Oda uses stereotypes(King Taco), so we can assume that Vodka kindgom is like Russia. Warcury is obviously a mix of Gorbachev and Stalin

When Kaido realized he can't become Joyboy and acknowledged Luffy, we had that lingering threat of the World Government preparing to annex Wano.

Back then people had the fabulous idea that Kaido would sacrifice himself in order to protect Luffy and Wano from the WoGo, so he can finish up stuff with Luffy and himself.

I think that's what Oda would do in the endgame. Kaido fighting the World Government, so they leave Nika Luffy be and so Kaido can take care of the Joyboy business.
