Yeah I read that and it was an interesting read, I agree with the death thing that Oda set up for the 3 main fighters in the crew. They come back different after that. So yeah maybe Zoro indeed died but will come back somehow, I'm interested to know how he will do it, I'm sure we'll have a big scene for it

I don't think the reaper needs to be focused on any more than oda did which was one panel
It's likely it was just a manifestation of zoro getting fucked over by x2 pain.

Yeah no, the Grim Reaper -the literal manifestation of death- came even before Luffy vs Kaidou reached completion. And Luffy was mocked for dying after recieving 3 powerups to fight Kaidou and still not being enough.

And no, Luffy died. His heartbeat literally stopped and Momonosuke, who can sense his voice/presence when he was knocked out, said he cannot sense it anymore. Quit coping, Kaidou legit killed Luffy with that last strike.

it is not a defeated kaido that zoro fans imagine it is kaido that won as he stands back up while luffy can't so in that scenario it is kaido that won again
