Speculations What's up with Zoro?

#63
Hi everyone, the question is simple, I want to know your thoughts about what's happenning with Zoro. Now I know the Zoro fans are saying he is going to come back for ZKK but since I saw everyone else saying it's not happening, I want to know what people think it's happening with him.

First of all, it is weird that Oda showed almost all of the main allies and even had Sanji waking up for 1044 but no sign of Zoro. He left us with 2 cliffhangers with Zoro, first one was the grim reaper (we still don't know what happened) and second one is Franky catching Zoro in his fall and asking if he is still alive.

Knowing the importance of Zoro for Oda and Wano in general, something must be happening to him. I personally have no idea what's going on.

NB: for Zoro fans please just don't answer ZKK, I would also like to know what you think is going on with the grim reaper and if he really died, and for Zoro haters please just don't answer he is done, explain why and what will happen to him

My apologies if that thread has already been made.

Simply put, Zoro is becoming Death itself. The connection between him and Hell is almost as long as the story itself.
If Sanji is a warrior of science and Luffy warrior of liberation then Zoro will be the Death god or warrior of Hell.

Let's see all the connections between Zoro and Hell itself:
1 - Back in Alabasta, he remembers that he was standing at the gates of Hell before, we dont know when, assuming vs Mihawk...
2 - Then comes Thriller Bark where The Tyrant promises to show Zoro Hell.
3 - Ultimately we have Zoro saying that he will become King of Hell if that is what it takes... To do what?
4 - There's another connection to Hell - what led to Zoro's death, multiplication of Hakai that happened in chapter named Naraku(hell).

Let us move on from Hell to Grim Reaper and see the connections between Zoro and Grim Reaper:
1 - The foot soldiers of New Fishman Pirates mentioned that the giant slash was a Scythe of Death itself.
A whirlwind or razor-sharp Death that follows them to the end of Hell...
2 - We have Zoro impaled by a scythe of Grim Reaper back in Ringo and taking Grim Reaper's scythe and defeating him with it.
3 - Ultimately on Onigashima, we see the real Grim Reaper with a scythe claiming Zoro's life.

Now we get to the part that Zoro promised us - his name will shake the world:
1 - All he has left is destiny!
2 - Zoro shaking the world foreshadowed on Onigashima.

The death of Kaido was foreshadowed back in FMI:
- Natural born killer who slices people while grinning, with a giant dragon in the background.

I have said long ago that Zoro is the inevitable number one of One Piece world and Death itself truly is that, the number 1.
Death always wins, claims everything and everyone, the one thing that cannot be escaped. Number 1 foreshadowed in FMI as well.

You may think it is not possible or wonder how but it is in development the whole time - The Six Paths!
Zoro is Luffy's opposite!
King of the day(Luffy) and King of the night(Zoro).
Sun god(Luffy) and Moon god(Zoro).
One brings joy(Luffy) while the other brings death(Zoro).

Get ready, Zoro is about to put up a show that you will never forget!

You did your researches as usual, aside from a few points I agree with you.
Zoro is the other side of Luffy's coin, Luffy is the best side though :kayneshrug:

My guess is that Zoro sees Kuina / Kozaburo / Ushimaru / Ryuma in the "Afterlife", they tell him about his lineage, his swords and his goal of becoming the World's Strongest

Then Zoro gets lost in the "Afterlife / Hell" and that's why Death can't find him, at some point he finds his way back to life

When he awakens, he has turned his swords into Black Blades

Now before you say i'm too crazy and this is too goofy, with Zoro getting lost in the afterlife and death losing him like that

Let me remind you that this chapter had Luffy acquire the Toon Force and make Kaido's eyes pop

Nothing is too goofy for One Piece

:ihaha:
