How do you feel about this character? Of course, Shanks rarely appears but every time he shows up, in some way, he impacts the story and the opinion of the fans.

So to be clearer, how do you feel about this character and how Oda deals with him in the story?

Very predictable. Hos character shows up, does something cool, look like the epitome of a good person, disappears for a few hundred chapters.

Was cool at first but at this point… it’s so boring.

Cool in terms of design and role, a little boring but also rather intriguing.

I understand why he's popular and expect impressive things from him.

I just wish he was less of a writer's pet and had more openings for slander. The rat thing was fun but now he's basically invulnerable.

Also, I hate his pants. Capris aren't my thing and the brown looks so drab.

The only reason King & Queen were humiliated by Aramaki was to build Aramaki up, so shanks would look that much better when he makes Aramaki wet himself.

Oda didn’t feel the need to sacrifice anyone but fodder for Fujitora, in comparison. It was all a big scheme to wank Shanks
