General & Others When is Zoro getting the VC title ?

Ive seen some zoro fans use right hand man arguement to prove zoro is the vice captain
right hand man and VC are two different thing

king and marco are called right hand men of the yonko pirate
benn and ray are called the vice captain of the pirate king/yonko crew

you can see how oda uses right hand men and VC differently


1) zoro was called luffy partner like how roger called ray his partner

2)he was called vice captain (first mate and vice captain means the same in Japanese 副船長 = Fuku Senchō = second captain )

3)the biggest strawhat fanboy in the manga who knows everything about them called zoro the vice captain

4) zoro pretimeskip vivre card claimed he plays the vice captain role

5)zoro latest vivre card egghead claims he plays the vice captain role

6)he has been called captain many times throughout the manga


Zoro also didnt get intro box in the manga yet

He also didnt get the warrior title chapter yet

I think this arc is where zoro is called the vice captain of the crew and makes it official

whats the point doing that if he isn't going to give him the role

There are similarities in dynamics, but they're not the same in function.

the crew is exactly how Oda wants it to be

I think in Rogers crew Ray and people like Gaban legitimately has leadership authority on the ship..The crew has some young members and the senior guys actually command them even in cases where they are not in battle.
The SH crew though is a crew of captain and equals. Zoro only takes charge in situations of crisis (Sanji two). In day to day he isn't commanding anyone. In fact he gets ordered around by others.

Probably never as the thing with the sh's is multiple characters in the crew can step in the vc role when needed. It's part of what makes the sh's unique as a crew. If zoro ever does become a vc I guess it would be when luffy becomes pk.

Whenever he was mentioned in combination with the title it's always other characters thinking he is. They represent the power scaling fans.
The SHs don't have a vc
