Damn I didn’t even cry when my grandparents passed, I felt so numb and detached
I didnt cry when my dogs died or when a couple of old people from my family died.I think its not about blood ties,etc...Its how much you care for someone. My friend that passed away was like a brother to me,he knew about stuff that i never even told my dad,mom or sisters about.I miss him badly.

Last Friday night. I usually don't cry, but I had a full blown panic attack. My new puppy got stuck in a rocker recliner's metal bars. His head was trapped and I could not get him out and he was screaming. Luckily, my boyfriend arrived from work about 10 min after and got a crowbar to bend the metal and get him out. He was exhausted but not hurt. I was a heaving sobbing mess though.

Awww poor puppy

I hope he is doing better now 😢

I cry every day

(I don't, but my empathy levels are amped to the max for some reason. It doesn't take much for me to shed a tear when watching a good show. Or sometimes listening to songs too)
I love listening to sad songs and crying 😢

One of our teachers died to cancer right before the schools shut down because of covid
I cried only when i heard the news but it's not a very big city so you had teachers and students who were related to him or friends growing up
The teachers couldn't teach and you could feel the sadness in their voice, one of our classmates started crying and left in the middle of the class and they also put a picture of him infront of the office where a bunch of the kids gathered and cried including his cousins
The last days of high school weren't very good

yeah she is fine now thanks

not being able to cry is a really bad thing cause even when sadness is eating you up from the inside you can't express yourself so no one comes to comfort you and you're left alone to deal with it
Try to force yourself to feel extreme sadness. Idk what works for you but take whatever makes you feel sad (like certain movies, songs, irl events etc) and expose yourself to this until your dams just break and the tears come by themselves.
Works for me

Good to hear

Like you can't physically push the tears?

Listen to something emotional, have some time to let out the negative emotions

those things can make me more sad but can't make me cry
