Lol CoC is talent, almost every pirate in the sea wants to conquer the grandline and become the PK, those that are most talented have all risen to the top and come closest to one piece, wanna guess what they all have in common? Kings haki.
If you could detect kings haki in kids, it would probably be better to make a crew out of people with it since it's already been proven enough times that those with it will at least be high tiers.
Everybody has CoC but you need desperate situations to unlock it. Is not talent it's a trick.

I think that anyone with half a brain can understand that Zoro is more hard-working and has more merit than Sanji. The question is: so what?

When you like a character you have to accept their strengths and weaknesses, if genetics is a deficiency, which I don't think so. For me the important thing about a Power Up is that it is well explained and the Germa genes are. I have no problems with them.

In fact, for me it's the opposite, I have more problems with Sanji not accepting the Raid Suit to get stronger for the sake of his Nakamas. On top of that for nothing, because Sanji is still dependent on his genes, but instead of a cool Power Ranger, we have a magical skeleton that we can't see.

Look at the Sanji haters in this post, and there are Zoro fans outside to defend themselves

Sanji was drowned in the sea when he was a child, but now he is the best in water, and the speed in the water is comparable to that of a fish man

He and Zeff learned how to fight and become m3 without weapons and fruits

Powerful enough to kick huge sea monsters

And many people say Sanji doesn't work hard?

What is Zoro's effort? Lift a barbell?

You can say Sanji talent > hard work, but don't deny Sanji's hard work
