Was Kong even a fleet admiral at the time? It seems that he's just an admiral in the flashback (or at least he isn't wearing the traditional white suit like Sengoku or Akainu).

Anyway, maybe there is already an admiral there? (Considering the huge amount of tenryuubitos in one place, it would be wise to send at least one). Garp doesn't seem worried with Hachinosu sending their forces there, implying that the God Valley's escort is already strong enough to restrain the Rocks Pirates (obviously an underestimation, if true). He just gets worried when Kong drops Roger's name.

This could really be Oda switching gears from admirals to gorosei. GB was wifi diffed by Shanks in his introduction, then we get admirals bandaged after fighting Sabo and the revo commanders, now Luffy one shots Kizaru (plus the anime shows the details of GB vs King and Queen), now in the God valley incident the holy knights are getting hyped while there are no admirals, Garp is already something above (hero of the marines) plus, probably, we are gonna get very soon Akainu vs Dragon and that could be the final nail in the coffin.

Who could be better than Garp against Roger :myman:.

The fact that someone really tried to use the fact that fucking Garp was sent against Roger as some kind of problem really tells how bad the situation is.

How is Akainu vs Dragon an L ?

Also it was established that Ryokugyu was the one who injured Fujitora. Neither Morley nor Karasu touched the Admirals. The Admiral haters ate a gigantic L on that one.
It could be an L and the final nail in the coffin if Oda hypes Dragon at the expenses of Akainu or it could be the rebirth of the admiral agenda if actually Akainu looks good, or even better, vs Dragon.

The amount of times I heard the Admiral agenda is over...just for to actually not be over. Nothings changed. People are jumping the gun again and when they're proven wrong everyone will pretend like they said nothing.

This Kizaru getting one shotted bla bla is just another one of those instances.

Calm down, lol. Oda hasn't even revealed the entire incident yet. He has shown part of the incident through the eyes of a couple of slaves that had no interest being involved in the fight and escaped as soon as they could.

Anyway, Fujitora and Greenbull certainly weren't Admirals back then and as far as I can recall, the likes of Aokiji, Akainu and Kizaru weren't Admirals back then either.

Oda hasn't even created the previous generation of Admirals yet. The only big names from the Marines from that era that we know of are Sengoku, Garp and Zephyr.
