General & Others Which arc surpassed your expectations ?

Which One Piece arc did you not have high expectations toward when you first read or watched it, but did surpass your expectations and became one of your personal favorites ?

Mine was Water Seven, with the arc being one of if not the best in terms of characters for the Straw Hats, as well as the side characters, and with the plot taking a level in seriousness and maturity with the Going Merry being broken and the tensions and fight between Luffy and Usopp that followed, Luffy actually taking a real decision by choosing to take a new ship, as well as the Robin mystery and drama, Mr Iceburg and Pluton and the CP9. Water Seven has become one of if not my favorite OP arc.

Impel Down. I think Oda reintroduced some characters very well, the pace, the comedy, the plot were perfect.

Gonna depend on when people started reading as time shape expectations

Any Arc where the Main Cast (Allies & Villains) are known is bond to create some Expectations
So the ones that you don't know what to expect from are those with Newly Introduced Cast (This rule applies to Factions in general as well)

Skypiea, Water 7, Thriller Bark, Sabaody & Punk Hazard are Major Arcs that match this Description
And all of them are Excellent

Skypiea is my Favorite Arc Overall & it could have been it's own Manga tbh
Thriller Bark is most Unique Arc & imo it has most Foreshadowing for Conclusion of Story
Punk Hazard was Great Arc to start New World Adventure
Sabaody was easily a Level Up to what We can expect from this Manga, it was an Unforgettable Experience
And Water 7 is most Underrated Arc, People talk about Enies Lobby, but imo Water 7 was better & it introduced many new sides to this Story
