Character Discussion Which character is more tragic?

9 year old obito out here in a world war, life or death situation every day. This is pretty poignant because the 1st Shinobi World War was directly compared to the Era of Warring states (2nd Databook) yet it did not devolve to the desperation of the 3rd World War.
Obito had a hard life from the get go.

People say this, yet this is not reflected in the manga.
It's shown that his comrades are closer to him than his clan by the repeated exemption of his clan from any emotional perspective at Obito's defeat.
In fact, the only Uchiha to show up in these flashbacks is Sasuke... Someone who he only met way after the fact, lol.
Even KAGUYA uses Team Minato to win Obito over, not any Uchiha. They were not a big part of his life. Which says a lot.

The fact that Kuma lost his humanity and became a robot to save his adopted daughter is probably more tragic. But if we're just looking at life, they were both orphaned, yet Obito was pretty much alone from the moment when Rin got killed. Alone and plotting.
Kuma at least seemed to have some good times in his village, with the Revos, etc. And he lived longer, Obito died at 31, after previously not knowing a nice life in any shape or form.

I know it’s hard to compare tragedies but I’d like to try anyways. I’m going to look at two characters who underwent very similar situations. The first character is The Tyrant Bartholomew Kuma.
Kuma has had a pretty shitty life—practically born into slavery, his mother died of a preventable illness, his father was shot dead in front of him, his childhood love was kidnapped, raped and then ditched with an almost incurable disease. To save Ginny’s child he has to join the Shichibukai and commit to having them remove his personality—essentially volunteering to die—to save his daughter.
Pretty tragic.
On the other hand, we have someone who experienced the worst of the world by the time he was a child.
Obito hails from the Uchiha clan though was a notable dud, his parents were long dead by the time we see him in team Minato and he’s been a Shinobi since age 9–Chuunin since age 11. Given that Obito grew up in the time of the third Shinobi world war, it’s very likely that he not only witnessed death first hand but participated in taking lives as young as 9.
Obito would go on to sacrifice his life for his friends and Allie’s, seemingly dying, only to miraculously survive thanks to Madara’s help. Obito would later witness Kakashi killing Rin and have his world completely shattered, remarking that he truly is in hell as he rejects his reality.
So who do you guys think has a more tragic story? imO it’s Obito.

Parents enslaved and living a horrible life, so bad they acknowledged death was better
Being an abused slave and made to feel like your're less than nothing
Being hunted for fun
Finding a best/girl friend who was kidnapped and sexually abused and purposefully inflicted with a deadly disease for kicks
Daughter also inflicted with the same disease
Forced to lose all will and emotions to save said daughter
Forced to become a mindless weapon of the people that abused you and all who you loved
Humiliated and abused by the CD's

Trumps some weak willed brat who's bitter his friend killed his childhood crush without even attempting to discover why. Sulking about it for years and knowingly allowing himself to get manipulated. I never felt any sympathy for Obito. Zilch.
