In FI Sanji still had credit since he was really cool pre-ts; his character sure took a toll but still had the benefit of the doubt.
WCI cemented the idea that Sanji is now broken.
That's my reasoning.
i couldn't get past the nosebleed being an actual plot point and the fact he would literally have died without a blood transfusion because of a gag

It was bad, really bad for sure.
Still they just came back for the TS where Sanji had the worst end of the stick.
Again, I really liked the character pre-ts so I had hope that after FI he would recover and bring back the smart moments from two years ago (in verse).

Fishman island fair cause Oda used Sanji as a cheap plot device to showcase the blood sharing law (lame and even I think it was dumb af) but why did WCI cement Sanji is broken?

Well, going from a badass smart cook to a princess in distress was too much.
His disrespect to the crew, to Luffy, and even to Zeff who he did all that for was crazy regression.
On top of all that, he didn't even show his dominance over his hated father and brothers; what happened in Wano should have happened in WCI and the opponent should have been his brothers; instead he got schooled till the end...
There is a panel of Sanji having a happy face when freaking BM was telling him that everything's alright and she will free Luffy and NAMI once all is done...Chopper wouldn't be that naïve...
Anyways Sanji regressed hugely since the start of post-ts so you could call WCI ''the straw that broke the camel's back'' for me.

You can tell that “badass smart cook “ is still in there tho, we saw that in wano. And I feel like we would’ve seen it in dressrosa if he stayed for the full arc.

Imo, Zoro. I didn't care for Luffy and I disliked Sanji. Zoro was my third favorite SH and it wasn't for his fights or because I thought he was cool, I thought he was funny, I admired his dedication like being stuck in a wax statue not being able to cut it so spending arc after arc training until he finally could cut from any unfavorable position.

Bur as the series went on, he is no longer funny he doesn't even hang out with the straw hats that made him funny like Usopp and Chopper, he just hangs out with Sanji constantly fighting over who is stronger.

Plus he just overcomes almost all his obstacles without much problems

They never fight over who’s stronger
