- It serves a Rayleigh parallel
- It’s a double entendre in Japanese that can also be read as King of Samurai, which is foreshadowing him being recognized as the monster samurai
- Suggests that he will be the one to free Wano (called hell throughout the story)

The best part is he said he WILL become it, meaning he knows his role isn’t done.
